Biden Flies The Coop Early For Thanksgiving, But Joe Has No Plans To Visit Victims Of The Waukesha Parade

Thanksgiving week is here, and everyone is looking forward to spending time with friends and family. Of course, this includes the President of the United States.

However, after the tragic events in Waukesha, Wisconsin, many citizens expected Joe Biden to put in a little overtime. He should visit the victims or at least speak out against the travesty.

Instead, Biden is already on vacation.

During an annual parade on Sunday, an SUV barreled into a crowd of attendees, leaving six people dead and at least 60 injured. Afterward, police arrested Darrell E. Brooks, Jr. for the horrid attack.

The President didn’t immediately react when it happened, either.

At the time, Biden was quoted as saying they needed “more facts” before responding to the situation. But even after those facts came in, it seemed the President was reluctant to issue a big speech.

He did say it was a “horrific act of violence” on Monday afternoon and offered prayers for the victims.

That being said, though, many Americans think it isn’t enough. He should’ve gone to visit the location at the very least but instead, he departs early for vacation.

From Breitbart:

President Joe Biden left the White House Tuesday evening for his long Thanksgiving vacation in Nantucket, with no plans to visit the victims of the horrific killing of families at the Waukesha Christmas Parade earlier this week.

That’s the other issue much of America noticed:

Not only did the President not visit Waukesha, but he left for Thanksgiving without revealing any plans to do so. This appears to be in stark contrast to Biden’s reaction to another tragedy.

When eight people were shot and killed in Atlanta, Biden made it a very big deal.

He ordered the flags to be flown at half-mast, he visited the city in March, and slammed the “hate crimes” against Asian-Americans. Then he said, “we have to speak out … we have to act.”

This just feels very different.

Many wonder if the President would’ve been in Waukesha already, if the victims had been minorities — or if the alleged perpetrator had been white.

One again, race seems to come to the forefront for many onlookers and critics, and everyone has questions concerning Biden’s response to the Waukesha incident.

We only have a message from White House press secretary Jen Psaki:

You saw the President speak to, you know his heart, all of our hearts go out to the community, the families who have suffered a tremendous tragedy…

But I don’t have any trips or anything to preview for you at this point.

If the situation had been different from a race perspective, many Americans think Biden and his team would be reacting very differently right now. And it’ll be interesting to see what Biden does upon his return.

Either way, everyone should say a little prayer for the victims of that terrible tragedy.

Key Takeaways:

  • President Joe Biden left early for Thanksgiving vacation.
  • He didn’t visit the victims of the Waukesha parade, nor did he announce any plans to do so before leaving.
  • Many Americans wonder if the President would’ve acted differently if the situation was different.
