After months of delays and excuses, Biden finally gave his first address to the Joint Sessions of Congress.
In what was an appropriate omen, the halls of Congress were half-empty (in the name of “safety,” I’m sure).
The official ratings from the event are not yet in. Although we can be safe in assuming they won’t be great.
But the response from the American people is already in. And Joe might be better off not looking.
From Daily Wire:
President Joe Biden’s first address to a joint session of Congress on Wednesday night fared relatively poorly online.
Aside from generally low views, left-leaning news stations and outlets that streamed the speech, like USAToday, NBC News, CBS News, CNBC News, and CNN all had “thumbs down” reactions outnumbering “thumbs up” reactions.

From all appearances, those who did view Biden’s speech did not have a favorable opinion of it.
News sites that streamed it online received more “thumbs down” than “thumbs up,” indicating most viewers did not like what Joe had to say.
According to a CNN poll (which of course is mostly Democrats), only 51% of viewers approved of the speech. CNN even compared it to polls they conducted for the last three presidents.
All three of them fared better than Joe. That includes Donald Trump, a man CNN continues to slander and attack.
Do we really have to wonder why? Joe, even with prepared remarks, rambled, tripped on his words, and promised some doozies.
Biden wants to spend trillions on everything, because we are in “crisis.” Surprisingly missing from his speech, of course, was a discussion on the real crisis brewing on the border.
This man wants to tax us into oblivion to pay for things we don’t need from the government. But he refuses to address the one big problem he caused?
And Democrats wonder why Americans aren’t impressed?
Critics were quick to blast Joe and his socialist-driven speech. And, judging from these reports, Americans are right behind them.
- Joe Biden gave his address to the Joint Sessions of Congress last night.
- Online viewers mostly gave the speech a “thumbs down.” CNN viewers approved it less than Trump’s speech.
- Biden vowed to spend trillions on government programs while ignoring the border crisis.
