Remember when Democrats were terrified about “Russian” influence in our country?

If you believe them, you’d think we were still in the Cold War. That Russia was our biggest threat and had to be stopped at all costs.

Well, that was when Donald Trump was the president—and Russia was an easy target.

These days? It doesn’t seem that Democrats are all that worried about Russia. In fact, it looks like Biden is a pretty good friend to the foreign power.

Because just before he dropped sanctions on a controversial Russia project, he got a nice windfall from a Russian lobbyist.

President Biden and his allies raked in campaign cash from a top Russia lobbyist in 2020, just months before his administration’s decision to scrap sanctions on a controversial firm building a Russian oil pipeline to Germany.

In addition to violating Biden’s own campaign pledge not to take lobbyist cash, the money from Burt is particularly noteworthy as he is currently directly engaged in lobbying activities for Nord Stream 2 AG.

A man named Richard Burt gave Joe Biden $4,000 in October and then gave another $10,000 to a leftist PAC earlier in the year.

Oh, and this man happens to be a lobbyist for the very Russian company that is building the pipeline to Germany.

Now, it’s important to note the Biden campaign gave those funds back around the time he was lifting sanctions on Russia’s Nordstream 2 pipeline. But that doesn’t exactly clear him.

We’ve seen Biden compromise his values (if he has any) in the past for Russia and Ukraine. He’s leaned on Ukraine to fire a man–the same man who was investigating his son’s Ukrainian company.

And he’s been pretty soft on China—a country accused of pumping millions into the Biden family for years.

Why should we be surprised that, before Biden shocked the country by lifting sanctions on a Russian project, he got money from a man fighting for that project?

Is there anyone on the left not totally corrupted by special interests or foreign lobbyists?

Biden claimed he’d be a better president than Trump. Hmm… I never saw Trump make shady decisions based on people who donated to his campaign or political allies.

Yet time and again we see Biden make questionable moves that just so happen to benefit foreign nations. Nations that seem to be buddy-buddy with Joe.

When is Joe going to do something that actually helps the American people—you know, the group he vowed to serve?
