An even bigger mistake than Barry!

Remember way back in 2008, when Obama was running for president? Among the many wild promises he made, he said that if he made it to the White House, the oceans would recede.

He promised to single-handedly end global warming. Instantly, the media made him a liberal Messiah. Gullible voters flocked to this empty vow.

But eight years and leftists still talk about climate change. Thanks, Obama.

This time around, his buddy Joe is making another wild promise, thinking he’s the next American Messiah.

‘But Americans aren’t buying it.

Biden rhapsodized, “I’ve worked so hard in my career that I promise you, if I’m elected president you’re gonna see (the) single most important thing that changes America, we’re gonna cure cancer,” according to The Washington Examiner.

Wow. I mean, wow. Joe’s made some gaffes before, but this is just ridiculous.

While speaking at an event, Joe Biden promised that—through just working hard—he would cure cancer.

I don’t even know how to answer that. How can the President of the United States cure cancer? Does he have a magic pill that he’s holding back, just waiting for the day to hand it out?

Can the president force Big Pharma to make a cancer-eradicating treatment? Or maybe Biden can accelerate medical science a few hundred years?

I understand he has some background in this field. And that’s no joke.

After leaving the White House, Biden oversaw the Biden Cancer Initiative with a mission to “develop and drive implementation of solutions to accelerate progress in cancer prevention, detection, diagnosis, research, and care, and to reduce disparities in cancer outcomes.”

That’s great Joe, that’s really great. But being president doesn’t instantly mean you can cure cancer.

Being president means you have to put Americans first. It means letting other people solve those problems, not making empty promises.

Hey, why don’t you sit this whole presidential election thing out and stick with your Cancer Initiative?

Get involved on that side. Then maybe you can help cure cancer.

But saying it at a rally doesn’t make it so. And promising to end a terrible disease—one that millions have suffered from—just to win votes, is pretty ugly.

Maybe he should get out of the race before he ruins the rest of his reputation.
