Biden Chief Admits America On Verge Of Losing – In Released Audio, Mayorkas Claims The Southern Situation “Unsustainable”

From the minute Joe Biden stepped into the Oval Office, many Republicans and border authorities were worried that his more lax approach to border security would backfire.

And for most of 2021, worrying reports have continued to come in from southern states, where the crisis is evidently raging. On the flip side, Democrats claim much of the claims are exaggerated.

But Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas says these claims aren’t exaggerated.

In fact, the situation might be even worse than previously believed.

Recently, Mayorkas met with Border Patrol agents in Texas and provided them with a grim view of the border situation. It’s arguably the most concerning report America has yet received.

In leaked audio from the meeting, Mayorkas used words like “unsustainable” and even said “we’re going to lose” if nothing is done.

According to Fox News’ Bill Melugin (via Border Patrol source), Mayorkas made these comments after visiting Mexico. Clearly, what he saw made a big impact.

As he said, via Fox News:

We can’t continue like this, our people in the field cant continue and our system isn’t built for it.

Mayorkas told the agents that the current border situation ‘cannot continue.’

He said the federal government’s system was not designed to handle such an influx of migrants as the U.S. has seen in recent months and he was ‘very well’ aware that the sector recently came close to ‘breaking.’

Hearing that one of the sectors almost “broke” is worrying enough.

But with the border chief saying that we’re in serious trouble, and that the situation “cannot continue” — that’s even more stunning. And it’s likely going to be fuel for right-wing politicians.

No matter which side of the aisle you’re on, however, this does appear to be a full-blown crisis.

And as Mayorkas said, “the extent of the challenge should not be understated,” which flies in the face of Democrat claims that the border issue are overblown or inaccurate.

On top of this, we have the ongoing pandemic. And there are reports that a frightening percentage of untested and unregistered individuals are being released inside the United States.

Mayorkas applauded the “heroic” efforts of border officials during this difficult time.

But if the border really is on the verge of cracking wide open, America could face even more trying times ahead. “Unsustainable” simply means we can’t allow this to continue at the current rate.

And how best to address the problem? Well, it’s simple according to many border patrol officials:

For those of us who have been around here long enough … we don’t need to reinvent the wheel.

We’ve had this happen before. We know exactly how to shut it down. We need to make illegal entry illegal.

That’s something Republican leaders have been fighting for, and precisely what former President Donald Trump advocated.

Joe Biden and the current Democrat-dominated administration, however, doesn’t appear to want to enforce any immigration, border, or citizenship laws.

And according to Mayorkas, that stance is having a profoundly negative impact on the country’s safety.

Key Takeaways:

  • Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has made some concerning statements.
  • He calls the border crisis “unsustainable” and says “we’re going to lose” if the situation continues.
  • Mayorkas added that “the extent of the challenge should not be understated,” which seems to disprove Democrat claims that the crisis is exaggerated.
