If you’ve been following the news lately, you’ve already heard about the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
It seems there might be no end in sight. And many are wondering where the United States stands in this conflict.
Many groups around the world want to deny Israel its right to defend itself. Plenty of left-wing Democrats in this country have urged Joe Biden to turn on our age-old ally.
While Biden offered vocal support for Israel, the nation was unsure what his administration was really going to do.
Now, we know.
From Jerusalem Post:
US President Joe Biden approved on Monday an arms deal with the State of Israel worth $735 million, Israeli media reported.
The deal will primarily focus on Israel acquiring from the US accurate missiles and special munition capabilities.
Israel and the U.S. have just agreed to a $735 million arms deal. The deal will provide Israel with missiles and other munitions, just as they need it.
This will certainly tick off Ilhan Omar and her “Squad”! I can just imagine what she’s tweeting out right now.
But the United States has long defended Israel, the only Jewish state in the world and only true democracy in the Middle East.
After Hama fired over 1000 missiles into the nation over the last two weeks, Israel was able to protect itself using the Iron Dome defense system.
But experts began to wonder how they would be able to replenish the defense system, even as Hama continues bombardments. (And let’s not forget where they are getting their missiles from: Iran.)
Sen. Ted Cruz and other staunch supporters of Israel called on the U.S. to step in and continue to show support to our ally.
It was a real question, however, if the Biden administration would listen. There are many far-left advisors on Biden’s team, including Biden who is shaping up to be the most radical president we’ve ever had.
The far-left seems to have a grudge against Israel and would rather condemn it than support it.
Thankfully, this time, Biden made the right choice.
- The U.S. signed a deal to provide $735 million worth of missiles for Israel.
- This comes as Israel continues to defend itself from Hamas.
- Far-left Democrats have criticized Israel, urging Biden to do the same.
