Things aren’t going well for old Joe Biden. That shouldn’t surprise anyone. The man’s presidency has been a disaster from day one. But what could take him down for good is a growing documents scandal. Biden was holding onto classified documents at two locations (at least), including his garage.
The DOJ appointed a special counsel to investigate the issue. And the White House clearly has no idea what to do. It seems the scandal derailed an important visit with the prime minister of Japan.
From Fox News:
President Biden on Friday ignored reporters’ questions about his handling of classified documents.
Biden passed the press pool with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida of Japan on their way into the White House for a bilateral conversation.
“Mr. President, why didn’t you tell us about the second batch of documents?” a reporter could be heard shouting to Biden…
Later, Biden did not respond to more questions after he and Kishida made brief remarks in the Oval Office.
But that wasn’t the only problem with this meeting. It seems Joe is getting pretty rattled over this scandal. Because, during the meeting with Kishida, he is seen looking at his watch.
Yikes, Joe. Have something important to do after this? Biden seemingly insults the prime minister by looking at his watch during their meeting. Now, we know Biden’s a few straws short of a basket, these days. And his ailing mental health probably makes it impossible for him to pay attention to someone for longer than six seconds.
But we can’t help but wonder if he is more than a little bit preoccupied during this event. So far, Biden has tried to dismiss the scandal. He has made comments that have only gotten him into more trouble. His handlers probably warned him not to say anything else, until they can come up with a way to sweep it under the rug.
It seems, though, that Biden can’t keep it off his mind. He should be worried. This is a pretty big deal.
- Joe Biden ignored questions from reporters during his meeting with Japan’s prime minister.
- Biden was seen looking at his watch during the meeting, evidently distracted.
- This comes as he is hit with a documents scandal, with the DOJ investigating.
