If there is a party known for out-of-control spending, it’s the Democratic Party.
Democrats don’t even apologize for wanting to spend trillions of dollars on mostly needless projects.
Joe Biden wants to raise our debt to over $6 trillion—to expand the welfare state and turn American into a socialist country.
But in all this take of spending Americans’ hard-earned tax dollars, where are the people trying to rein it in?
Well, it looks like Republicans are finally waking up and smelling the coffee. And they’re vowing to return to their roots as “fiscally responsible” leaders.
From Fox News:
While President Biden pushes Congress to enact his agenda that could total upward of $6 trillion, a massive government spending binge, congressional Republicans are saying they plan to “reclaim the mantle of fiscal responsibility” as the national debt soars above $28 trillion…
“It’s a huge amount of spending at a time where we’re not even able to pay for the spending that we already have on the books,” Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget President Maya MacGuineas said about Biden’s plans.
Here’s some news that will make even Paul Rand happy.
Republicans in Congress are working to reclaim their reputation for being fiscally responsible.
Now, that might not be the sexiest title in the world, but trust me, that’s the kind of leaders you want in D.C.
Democrats are not safe with other people’s money. And, when given the chance, they spend more cash than a drunk teen on prom night.
There needs to be strong, uncompromising conservatives who will fight back on their bloated, socialist-driven agenda.
After all, the big problem with socialism is you eventually run out of other people’s money to spend.
Democrats don’t seem to understand that. They are content with just raising taxes until the average American can’t afford a studio apartment.
It’s high time Republicans struck back with a hard stance on spending. They need to embrace the same kind of budgeting mindset as regular, everyday Americans.
If you don’t have the money, don’t buy it.
- Republicans are looking to reclaim the mantle of fiscal responsibility.
- This comes as Biden wants to spend upwards of $6 trillion dollars.
- Republicans used to oppose wasteful spending and might return to doing so.
