What’s Happening:
Gas prices have been rising ever since Biden pushed radical, far-left environmental policy. He claims it’s all Putin’s fault, yet this problem has been going on since 2021.
Biden previously promised to “work like the devil” to lower gas prices. He’s done nothing. He did release millions of barrels from our strategic reverse, which only served to deplete much-needed fuel for a time of war.
Now, he promised once again to “fix” gas prices. But instead of increasing the production of oil and gas, he’s doing another bait and switch.

This is not smart, Mr. President. Biden announced that, in order to “lower” gas prices, he will allow a 15% blend of ethanol in gas sold in the U.S. This will lower the cost at the pump a bit—as well as the cost of fuel efficiency and quality.
Companies often mix ethanol with gasoline as a way of “watering down” the gas you actually buy. Sure, you’re paying less at the pump, but you’re getting less gasoline. Ethanol doesn’t effectively fuel your car.
Most car manufacturers warn not to buy gas with more than 10% ethanol in it. The ethanol burns off quickly, forcing you to buy gas sooner than you would have otherwise.
In effect, Biden is trying to pull a fast one on Americans. The price at the pump will look lower, but you are getting less gas and will have to refill sooner.
In the long run, you will be paying much more. While, at the same time, damaging your car’s engine.
What a solution! Does the Biden administration have any clue what it is doing? Do the people who call the shots in the White House really think Americans will prefer this solution?
Make no mistake: he is doing this now to artificially lower gas prices right before the elections. He’s hoping Americans will be duped into thinking he’s fixing the problem.
But like paying more money for more ice in your drink, Americans will in no way be impressed.
