Joe Biden isn’t known for being a great communicator. But this time, even a liberal paper is calling him out.
Biden is often befuddled by gaffes and moments of forgetfulness.
He uses that as an excuse for statements that are just not true.
Recently, while trying to push his agenda, he made a major prediction about America’s hospitals.
But the claim was so wild, so unsupported by fact, that even WaPo had to hit him.
From Fox News:
Washington Post fact-checker Glenn Kessler gave President Biden “four Pinocchios” for what he described as a “nonsensical” claim about Alzheimer’s patients filling hospital beds in the not-too-distant future…
On Thursday, Kessler posed the question, “Is there any evidence that Biden’s claim is correct?”
“We consulted with many experts on Alzheimer’s disease, but they were stumped, too. This seems to be a Biden original.”
During an event, Joe Biden claimed that in 15 years “every hospital bed” in the country would be filled with an Alzheimer’s patient.
WaPo’s fact-checker Kessler consulted as many experts as he could. And he could not find a single doctor to back Joe’s wild claim.
He gave the man “four Pinocchios” calling his statement “nonsensical.”
Kessler called the statement a “Biden original.” Which is the left’s way of saying, “Biden lied.”
How can a “president” stand in front of the country and make a wild claim unsupported by facts?
Where did Biden get this information in the first place? While rambling on, he said that nurses in attendance could attest to what he was saying.
Uh… nope. Nurses don’t make predictions about Alzheimer’s anyway, Joe.
Is anyone starting to wonder if… Joe might be suffering from some issues himself?
Hey, it had to be asked. The man makes less and less sense every passing day. And while it’s fun to joke about, this man is supposed to be the President of the United States.
He’s the guy that has to be ready to take the 3 AM call, the man with the nuclear codes.
Yet he seems to be making up stuff right on the spot and most of the media doesn’t seem to mind.
Will anyone, other than a brief fact check, challenge him on this statement? Will they bother to ask him where he got this?
Probably not, because he rarely holds actual press conferences.
- WaPo hit Biden over his wild claim about Alzheimer’s.
- The paper gave him “four Pinocchios” saying it was nonsensical.
- They could not find a single expert to confirm Biden’s claim.
