President Biden Just “Rerouted” $2 Billion – It Was Supposed Go To Taxpayers, Now It’s Going To Border Hoppers

Throughout 2021, America’s southern border has been a big topic of conversation. The Biden administration’s initial reluctance to call the situation a “crisis” has only created more tension.

And as the country continues to emerge from the pandemic, many Republican leaders are concerned that we’re spending far too much money on coddling foreign travelers.

Now it seems we’re spending billions that should’ve gone into our healthcare system.

Given the epidemic, you’d think the President’s team would prioritize caring for the country’s residents. But it appears unregistered residents are being treated just as well (if not better) than legal citizens.

According to recent reports, migrant families are getting a massive amount of cash. And of course, that has to come from taxpayers.

The issue at hand is simple: the sheer cost of caring for those who are not here legally, and whether or not that cost is viable.

Right now, it’s likely many taxpayers will say no, it’s not viable, and we can’t afford to keep caring for the entire planet.

Via Breitbart, citing a Politico report:

President Joe Biden has taken $2 billion from Americans’ healthcare programs to help deliver migrant youths and children to their illegal-migrant parents throughout the United States, press reports say.

The Politico article says the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has diverted that $2B, which was supposed to go toward other health initiatives.

Instead, now it’s going to care for “unaccompanied immigrant children.”

These funds appear to come directly out of America’s COVID emergency relief fund, too:

The redirected funds include $850 million that Congress originally allocated to rebuild the nation’s Strategic National Stockpile, the emergency medical reserve strained by the Covid-19 response.

Another $850 million is being taken from a pot intended to help expand coronavirus testing, according to three people with knowledge of the matter.

Total program costs are expected to hit nearly $9 billion by October (per a leaked report from the New York Times).

That $9 billion is supposed to help the country get back on its feet after the pandemic. It was earmarked for a wide range of health-related purposes, and should be spent as such.

Democrats will argue that the unregistered foreigners count as part of the country, and are entitled to a piece of that expensive pie.

But most Republicans and Conservatives will vehemently disagree. They’ll say that in fact, those here without documentation are entitled to nothing, and America needs to focus on itself right now.

The concern is obvious: if we continue to be a welfare state for every other country, taxpayers will just keep getting hit — and hit hard.

And clearly, the Biden administration has no problem spending your money on every liberal talking point, including the unregistered individuals.

Key Takeaways:

  • The Biden administration has “diverted” $2B in pandemic emergency funds. Now it’s going to unregistered foreigners and their children.
  • They’ve already taken $850M from the nation’s Strategic National Stockpile, and another $850M from the expansion of virus testing.
  • Many taxpayers will be furious, especially when the country is trying to get back on its feet after the epidemic.
