Despite showing little leadership in recent months, Joe Biden is promising a new era of unity and peace for the country.
I guess he shows this by letting his party impeach the last president without evidence or an investigation!
But along with this new era of “unity,” he’s doing away with this little thing called transparency.
He has frequently evaded questions about his son and anything he doesn’t like. Now, he may have done the least transparent thing yet.
From the Free Beacon:
The Biden Institute, a policy research center founded by Joe Biden at the University of Delaware, has no plans to disclose its donors after the president-elect takes office, Politico reported on Monday.
Legal experts and watchdog groups said the lack of transparency could create an ethical dilemma for Biden, particularly if he keeps his name on the institute and it continues to fundraise while he’s in the White House.
Joe Biden has this little habit of dismissing questions that cut too close to his personal dealings.
He claims he will be a better president than Donald Trump, yet he will not reveal the names of donors to the Biden Institute.
Many still wonder about Biden’s dealings while vice president. Some think he was influenced by China, Ukraine, and possibly other countries through his son’s businesses.
Now, we learn that this “policy research center” will continue to receive funds while he’s president. But the American people will not be allowed to ask who is giving the money.
Does that sound right to you? What if a hostile country sent millions to that Institute—maybe that would give them leverage over the president?
Shouldn’t we know if Russia or Iran was pumping money into a group that is “researching policy?”
Joe Biden claims he will restore the “soul of America,” yet he won’t tell us where his group is getting their money.
Do you think Biden’s institute should be more transparent, or be investigated?
- Joe Biden will not reveal donors to his policy research group.
- The Biden Institute will continue to raise funds even while he’s in office.
- The lack of transparency raises ethical questions over how Biden will lead.
