While on the campaign trail, Joe Biden took a lot of heat for committing errors during public speeches. He’d forget names and statistics, mispronounce certain terms, and stumble over words.
And in the eyes of many, things didn’t improve much when he assumed the Presidency. Biden still routinely makes flubs and errors, though Democrats are quick to dismiss them all as trivial.
Biden’s latest slip might be anything but trivial, though.
This will remind you of when Biden mistakenly called Vice President-elect Kamala Harris “President-elect” back in December.
When speaking at the White House concerning the ongoing epidemic, Biden made a similar error — and again, it got everyone thinking.
Many Republicans and right-wing lawmakers have wondered if Biden is in 100 percent control in Washington. Some say his colleagues and Cabinet are mostly calling the shots.
So, when Biden once again gives Harris the label of “president,” those critics are going to start to worry.
President Joe Biden mistakenly referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as ‘president’ Thursday while delivering remarks at the White House regarding the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Perhaps even more troubling is that Biden didn’t seem to acknowledge his mistake, because he didn’t correct himself.
The President was talking about how minorities have been “disproportionately impacted by the pandemic,” then spoke about a virtual tour he and Harris made of a vaccination center in Arizona.
That’s where he called her “President,” and it recalled Biden’s remarks last summer.
That’s when he was asked about Harris potentially getting into the White House sooner rather than later, and Biden said the reason he picked Harris is because “she’s ready to lead on day one.”
Then in September, Harris referred to the “Harris administration” during a speech on the economy, though she did correct herself.
However, with all these little mistakes piling up, the questions continue to fly.
On top of which, with President Biden just falling down the steps boarding Air Force One, those questions are becoming louder and more insistent: are they preparing for a Harris presidency right now?
It seems to be on the minds of just about everyone, including those in power in Washington.
- Joe Biden made another public mistake, calling Vice President Kamala Harris “President.”
- It’s not the first time he’s done it, and Harris also accidentally referred to the “Harris administration” last year.
- Many are starting to wonder if these slip-ups point to something deeper: possibly planning for a transition to Harris.
