Biden claimed his administration would get Washington “back to normal.” Considering what we knew as normal before Trump, that ain’t great.
Joe, along with other Democrats, once condemned “dark money” influencing American politics. Dark money is when a politician gets support from people who are not named. You can imagine the problem that creates.
Yet, despite opposing this tactic, it seems like Joe has some explaining to do. From Fox News:
A report published by Bloomberg News shows that Biden raked in about $145 million in donations from anonymous donors to outside groups backing him, far outstripping the $28.4 million spent on behalf of his rival, former President Donald Trump. It also tops the previous record of $113 million in dark money donations spent on behalf of Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney in 2012.
Dang. Biden was able to rake in a whopping $145 million in donations from “anonymous” donors. Really, Joe?
All that talk about dark money and you brought in a record-breaking amount?
Where did this money come from?
Normally, when a citizen gives to a politician, their name is put on record. But often, when money is shifted from one PAC to another, those names are conveniently not collected or saved.
That creates all kinds of problems, doesn’t it? If we don’t know where that money came from, can we trust where it came from?
What if all this money came from Russian oligarchs? Or from Chinese military generals?
Heck, it could have come from Iran. How could we know?
For a long time, Americans worried about Biden’s history while vice president. They thought he might have been compromised, thanks to money filtering into his son’s pocket.
Biden never did much to alleviate those worries. Now we learn he got over $100 million from shadowy sources.
Will he bother to reveal where it came from?
Do you want Congress to investigate and demand answers from our President?
- Joe Biden received over $145 million in dark money during his campaign.
- These donations were anonymous, filtered through various PACs and groups.
- Biden and other Democrats previously condemned such donations.
