Joe Biden is known for his slip-ups, gaffes, and confused remarks.
But it’s the stuff that makes sense that is the most troubling.
He recently promised to create a commission to “reform” our courts, if elected.
Now, he is saying something that just might cost him thousands—or millions—of votes.
You would think a man running for president would speak highly of the country.
After all, he wants to lead it. But not Joe!
Instead, he is slamming it:
Joe Biden was facing intense backlash Wednesday night for referring to America as an “idea” that “we’ve never lived up to.”
“America was an idea, an idea,” Biden said. “‘We hold these truths to be self evident.’ We’ve never lived up to it, but we’ve never walked away from it before. And I just think we have to be more honest. Let our kids know, as we raise them, what actually did happen. Acknowledge our mistakes so we don’t repeat them.”
Many Americans are fuming after Biden apparently insulted our history—and the brave men and women who made America great.
He claimed we “never lived up to” the ideals of our country.
In saying that, Biden appears to be insulting the founding fathers who risked their lives to break from England and form this country.
The men and women who fought and died to defend our freedoms. The many who worked and fought to free the slaves and end segregation.
Biden claims we never lived up to the very ideals that set America apart from the rest of the world.
And this guy wants to be president?
What intern wrote this script for him? And who in their right mind in the campaign said this was okay for him to say?
This kind of talk might fly in California or in a left-wing liberal college, but it doesn’t cut much ice with Americans.
Citizens from all walks of life are patriots who love this country. Millions from around the world flock here to escape the corruption, poverty, and oppression of their homelands.
Yet Biden says we haven’t lived up to our “idea”?
Sorry, Joe, but America is more than an idea. It is a country of proud patriots who—every day—live up to the high standards of liberty, work hard, and American values.
Does Biden deserve America’s vote on November 3rd?
- Joe Biden said America was an “idea” that we “never lived up to.”
- The Democrat appears to be dismissing the many who worked and fought to make America.
- His talking points appear more in line with those from the far left.
