Democrats are busy with their agonizingly long convention.
But Trump is giving them a run for their money with some much-needed counter-programming.
You might have seen him live-tweeting during some of the left’s speeches—such as Obama’s.
What he’s doing today just might top that. Joe Biden should be getting peeved right about now.
Because just as Biden is christened the Democrats’ nominee, Trump is storming his birthplace.
And he’s taking no prisoners:
U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday will travel to the area in the swing state of Pennsylvania where Democratic rival Joe Biden was born to slam his decades of government service, hours before the former vice president accepts his party’s nomination.
The speech, which the campaign has said will highlight a “half century of Joe Biden failing America”, will seek to shore up the Republican’s support in the state, which may prove key to winning re-election in November.
Donald Trump is traveling to Joe Biden’s birthplace to expose his decades in government.
He is calling it “half a century of Joe Biden failing America.”
Joe Biden is asking Americans to put him into the highest office in the land. He has promised to make significant changes to our way of life.
He’s even gone on to promise things like improved health care, ending police brutality, and healing race relations.
President Trump will be in Pennsylvania to ask, “Why hasn’t Joe done any of that before?”
It’s no secret that Joe Biden has been in public office for nearly 50 years. He was a senator for decades, then served as vice president under Barack Obama.
Trump is simply asking if Biden cares so much for America, why did he preside over years of decline and failure?
Not only did Biden appear to neglect Americans during his time in D.C., but he even made moves to deliberately hurt many.
Biden might have a hard time explaining his support (and co-authoring) of the infamous 90’s Crime Bill, which sent millions of young black men to prison.
Going even further back, critics have slammed Biden for his apparent support for segregation and other discriminatory practices.
Pennsylvania is a key swing state, one which Trump won in 2016. Most say he’ll need to win it to clinch the election.
It comes as no surprise that he’ll be there—hammering Joe mercilessly.
- President Trump will be in Joe’s hometown as the Democrat receives his party’s nomination.
- Trump will expose Joe’s 50-year time in office, calling him a “failure.”
- The president will point out how little Biden’s done to actually help Americans, despite being in D.C. for decades.
