For a while, the MSM was desperately trying to defend old Sleepy Joe. But even they are getting tired of Joe’s gaffes, misquotes, and wrong statements.
(Maybe they are ticked off that Biden still refuses to let them see the border?)
Most of the time, publications like yours truly are left to do the real work of calling out Biden and his cohorts.
But for once, the liberal media is doing its job. They are calling out what amounts to a straight-up lie, giving Joe 4 “Pinocchio’s.”
Biden claimed during his first news conference on March 25, “What I’m worried about is how un-American this whole initiative is. It’s sick. It’s sick … deciding that you’re going to end voting at five o’clock when working people are just getting off work.”
However, The Washington Post’s fact-checker Glenn Kessler hit Biden with four “Pinocchios” for “falsely” claiming the new Georgia voting law “ends voting hours early.”…
The Post notes that polling places are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Georgia on Election Day, “and if you are in line by 7 p.m., you are allowed to cast your ballot.”
Wow. For the first time, the mainstream media is calling out Joe for his bogus claims.
Joe, twice, claimed that Georgia’s new voting law end voting at five, which he claimed is when people “are just getting off work.”
You might think this was just a gaffe. But Joe said it twice, at two different events.
Where did he get this line? Because nothing in the new law sets the end of voting at 5 PM. Like most states, voting continues into 7 PM—and if you are in line by then, you get to vote.
Georgia’s new law does not prevent working Americans (i.e.: most of us) from voting on Election Day. Yet Joe seems to be promoting something clearly false, to attack the conservative state.
Plenty of Democrats have slammed the Georgia law as a new form of voter suppression. Though, they have not been able to prove it.
Only Joe appears to be making stuff up out of thin air, to defend his reckless claim that GA is restricting voters’ rights.
Even the Washington Post had to call out Joe, saying his claim was a lie.
This isn’t the first time Joe Biden has made a wild claim based on his imagination and not the facts. But rarely does the media bother to confront him over it.
Only after conservative outlets rail and make a fuss, does Biden occasionally admit he “forgot” the truth.
- The MSN is giving Biden 4 “Pinocchio’s” for his claim about GA’s new voting law.
- Biden falsely claimed (twice) that the law ends voting at 5 PM.
- The Washington Post pointed out that voting extends to 7 PM.
