Bernie Sanders is considered by some Americans to be an outsider voice in the Senate. But all too often, he tows the party line of the Democrats.

The self-described socialist hasn’t seemed to mind when Biden burned through billions of taxpayer dollars. Sanders has even voted for bills he admitted would not help.

Now, suddenly, he is opposed to a new plan to provide $10 billion in aid. The man is calling on other lawmakers to block this bill. But when you discover what the money is for, you will be shocked to hear what he’s said.

“…[We must] recognize that Israel’s military response has been grossly disproportionate, immoral, and in violation of international law. And, most importantly for Americans, we must understand that Israel’s war against the Palestinian people has been significantly waged with U.S. bombs, artillery shells, and other forms of weaponry. And the results have been catastrophic.”

Parroting lines from the progressive left and anti-Israel forces, Bernie Sanders called Israel’s war against Hamas “grossly disproportionate” and “immoral.” He is demanding Congress to kill a bill that will provide $10 billion to help Israel defeat this enemy.

The senator appears to be ignorant of the horrific actions Hamas committed, which provoked this war. Many progressives have seemingly sided with the Hamas, all but dismissing their heinous actions against civilians.

Many have called Israel’s response “disproportionate.” But critics have slammed that claim, suggesting there is no way to “proportionately” respond to Hamas’s utterly vile attack on October 7th—which left 1,200 dead and women brutally treated.

Sanders has not been this outraged over the nearly $100 billion given to Ukraine—despite the devastation its war with Russia has caused. Yet, for some reason, the senator is opposed to Israel defending itself.

Sen. Sanders himself is Jewish American. Many have expected he, of all people, to support the one Jewish state in the world’s attempts to protect itself. Experts on the issue have explained that Hamas will continue attacking Israeli civilians unless they are wiped out.

Despite this, Sanders’ loyalties appear to lie with anti-Western progressives on this important issue.
