AOC seems pretty dedicated in her job… if her job was drumming up drama for photo ops.
Time and again, the Democrat seems more gifted at spreading hype and misinformation. Isn’t she supposed to do something in Congress? Is that something spreading hype and drama?
Years ago, she flew to Texas to “weep” in front of a fence. Recently, she decided to fly down again to exploit the winter freeze that gripped the state.
But it turns out, the trademark Texas sun turned on her.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) flew to Texas to offer help during the winter storm. Our friends at Twitchy had it, noting that this photo op didn’t go as planned. For starters, the storm is over. Also, it was 65 degrees outside.
AOC tried to make a big deal about the winter chill that hit Texas last week. She talked about her “green” plan would have saved the state (ignoring the fact that the wind turbines and solar panels failed big time).
After raising some money for the state, she decided to fly down to draw attention to herself. Um… Texas has plenty of good leaders to help out in a crisis. We didn’t need a New York carpetbagger wasting plane emissions for a photo op.
(Maybe she thinks she can get a foothold in Texas politics? Good luck, kid!)
But apparently, AOC does not have access to the 10-day forecast. Because by the time she reached Texas, the winter chill had long passed.
After a week of freezing temperatures, the weather in Texas this week was in the 60-70 degree range. I wonder if AOC had packed heavy coats and gloves, hoping for the perfect photo.
Too bad the snow had literally disappeared in a day. That kind of spoiled AOC’s plans.
The Democrat seemed to think that her “Green New Deal” would have protected oil-loving Texas from their crisis.
But the inconvenient truth was that Texas experienced a once-in-a-lifetime cold snap. While the state is already at work preparing for the future, it was not the lack of green technology that caused the problem.
With all the crazy problems facing New York, why is AOC wasting her time in Texas? Is she unaware that her own governor is moments away from impeachment?
(Not to mention the ongoing economic crisis brought on by the lockdown?)
I guess those real problems are too much for AOC to solve herself.
Do you think AOC should stay in New York where she belongs?
- AOC tried to exploit the Texas winter freeze for a photo opp.
- By the time she reached the state, the weather had already warmed.
- The Democrat has a reputation of peddling in drama for attention.
