Republican Brooks Accuses Democrats Of Coming Tidal Wave – He Claims Amnesty Would Cause “100 Million People In 10-20 Years”

Democrats have been pushing their amnesty bill for weeks now, as they want to open a path to citizenship for millions. Most leftists support the idea, but many Republicans rail against it.

This includes Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL), who dropped several concerning statistics during an interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily — and these stats are bound to make waves.

In fact, if they’re accurate, it means America could be in very big trouble in a short span of time.

Brooks first reminded everyone that the issue actually began back in 1986 during the Reagan administration, when Democrats promised to provide border security.

At the time, Brooks claims that amnesty rule basically told the world, “Hey, break into the United States of America. We’re not going to enforce our laws.

That’s precisely what the GOP and former President Donald Trump tried to do in the past four years: simply enforce the existing border and citizenship laws.

But with this new amnesty bill, it’s once again sending the message that it doesn’t matter if you show up legally or not — we’ll still take care of you.

Then Rep. Brooks tossed in a few numbers that cast the future in a dark light:

What was a two or three million problem in 1986 has now become a 15 or 20 million problem today.

We give amnesty today, it’ll be a hundred million problem in ten, twenty years.

Brooks added that Democrats want to import unregistered residents simply because these people are on welfare far more often than American citizens, and that supports the socialist agenda.

This paves the way for a borderline Marxist regime, he contends:

What that means is, over time, if you can get those families to get amnesty and citizenship — which is a core promise of socialist President Joe Biden, you may remember the October 22nd presidential debate, [he said], ‘I’m going to give them all amnesty and citizenship’…

Well, if you can give them citizenship and they have voting rights, then all of a sudden you’ve got a huge group of welfare recipients that are now going to start voting Democrat.

Essentially, Brooks claims this has nothing to do with humanity and compassion.

Instead, it’s just “a very crass power play” by the Democrat party, which continues to ignore the impact non-registered individuals continue to have on the American populace.

On top of this, Rep. Brooks says “The United States Chamber of Commerce is trying to buy cheap labor.” He claims they don’t want to pay what market conditions would demand for American workers.

They’re just in it for profit, he claims.

Add that to the Democrats, who are only doing this to further their political agenda, and Brooks believes we’ve got the makings of a future disaster.

At this point, though, much of the media continues to back the amnesty idea, so it feels like an uphill battle. Common sense and facts appear to be falling by the wayside, too.

Key Takeaways:

  • Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) slammed the Democrat amnesty bill, which he claims could result in a population surge of 100 million in 10-20 years.
  • He said it’s just a “crass power play” for Democrats. And The Chamber of Commerce supports the idea simply to get “cheap labor.”
  • This results in a “double whammy,” Brooks says, which could cause major issues in a very short span of time.
