AG Bondi Sends Message to Tesla Attackers, They Will Face Terrorism Charges

Radical activists are throwing Molotov cocktails at Teslas and spraying antisemitic graffiti on dealerships. Quite the escalation in the #TeslaTakedown movement that’s targeting Elon Musk for the unforgivable crime of helping President Trump drain swamp.

It seems the left can’t handle that their favorite electric car company is run by someone who’s now working with a Republican administration. And rather than simply buying a different EV, some radical activists have decided that destruction of property is the appropriate response. Because nothing says “we care about the environment” quite like setting cars on fire.

Attorney General Pam Bondi isn’t taking these attacks lightly. On Tuesday, she issued a strongly worded statement calling the spate of Tesla attacks exactly what they are – domestic terrorism.

From ‘The Post Millennial’:
The swarm of violent attacks on Tesla property is nothing short of domestic terrorism. The Department of Justice has already charged several perpetrators with that in mind, including in cases that involve charges with five-year mandatory minimum sentences. We will continue investigations that impose severe consequences on those involved in these attacks, including those operating behind the scenes to coordinate and fund these crimes.

From Protests to Pyrotechnics

The violence has escalated dramatically in recent weeks. Just yesterday morning, multiple Tesla vehicles were set ablaze at a Las Vegas service center. According to the FBI, five vehicles were damaged in the arson attack that happened around 2:45 AM when most law-abiding citizens were sound asleep.

Las Vegas Metropolitan PD Assistant Sheriff Dori Koren revealed the assailant was “wearing all black clothing” and used “what appear to be Molotov cocktails and a firearm to conduct his attack.” That’s right – not just fire, but firepower. Officers found an unignited Molotov cocktail at the scene and evidence that the suspect had fired “at least three rounds into different” Teslas.

This isn’t an isolated incident. Federal authorities are investigating attacks nationwide, including two Tesla Cybertrucks set on fire in Kansas City and a Tesla dealership in San Diego where vandals spray-painted antisemitic symbols on the building and vehicles.

AG Bondi Brings Down the Hammer

Bondi’s terrorism designation follows President Trump’s earlier statement that he would label the attacks as domestic terrorism. The DOJ is clearly taking this seriously, with some perpetrators already facing charges that could result in five-year mandatory minimum sentences.

FBI Las Vegas Special Agent in Charge Spencer Evans told reporters that the Vegas attack “certainly has some of the hallmarks” of a terrorist attack, though the investigation is ongoing. “Violent acts like this are unacceptable regardless of where they occur,” Evans said, adding, “We will come after you, we will find you and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.”

Elon Musk himself responded to the Las Vegas incident, calling it “insane and deeply wrong” and later explicitly labeling it “terrorism.” When the guy who revolutionized both electric vehicles and space travel calls something terrorism, perhaps we should take it seriously.

When Cars Become Political Casualties

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and seven other GOP lawmakers aren’t sitting quietly either. They’ve called for a full-scale “domestic terrorism” investigation, noting in their letter to Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel reported links between “various Democrat-affiliated non-governmental organizations” and the attacks, though specific evidence wasn’t detailed.

The politically motivated attacks appear aimed at punishing Musk for his association with Trump. According to Axios reporting, Tesla has seen sales slump in the first quarter of 2025, and the company’s post-election stock bump has “faded sharply” since Musk took on his role in the Trump administration.

Apparently, helping to streamline government efficiency is now grounds for having your business systematically attacked. It’s almost as if some people don’t actually want the government to run efficiently – a revelation that will shock approximately no one who’s been paying attention.

Key Takeaways:

  • The Justice Department under AG Pam Bondi has declared attacks on Tesla property to be domestic terrorism.
  • The most recent attack in Las Vegas involved Molotov cocktails and firearms.
  • The attacks appear to target Elon Musk for his role in the Trump administration’s government efficiency efforts.
