Recently, a senior editor of the National Public Radio outed the organization’s heavy liberal bias. Uri Berliner revealed that the group has 87 registered Democrats in editorial positions, but zero Republicans.
Even though he is a liberal himself, Berliner was revealing how slanted the network has become. Quickly, this news raced across the Internet, with conservatives calling out the NPR’s agenda.
Republicans are demanding answers from the network, which receives much of its funding from the government. Now, Donald Trump is weighing in on the controversy. And the former president is dropping the hammer on the NPR.

Trump raged at the NPR after Uri Berliner exposed the company’s shockingly liberal bias. The former president took to Truth Social to demand the government stop funding the network. He accused it of only being used to damage himself.
The Republican said, “not on dollar” should be given to this “liberal disinformation machine.” Berliner exposed the NRP for spreading what he believed were false narratives on COVID, Democrat accusations, Florida’s parental rights bill, Hunter Biden, and of course Trump.
Whether or not Trump’s call is heeded by Congress, it appears NPR is in decline. In 2023, the group had to lay off ten percent of its staff after failing to generate enough revenue.
This is consistent with what we’ve seen from other mainstream media outlets. Liberal-leaning news networks continue to lose money and audience, as they become further left-wing. These networks’ aggressive liberal bias appears to be turning off moderate and conservative listeners in groves.
