After Top Democrat Attacks Ted Cruz – The Texas Senator Humiliates His Liberal Rival

What’s Happening:

Try as they might, Democrats just can’t seem to crack Texas. In the last three election cycles, Democrats have pushed hopeless liberal Francis “Beto” O’Rourke into the limelight. But Texans didn’t want him.

In fact, many previously liberal-leaning regions are swinging to the right, thanks to Joe Biden’s radical agenda.

This election, Republican Sen. Ted Cruz is up for re-election. Democrats are champing at the bit to remove this constitutional scholar from office. One of the many rivals fighting for the Democrat nomination visited San Antonio. He claimed that Texans were going to “fire” the Republican senator. This was Cruz’s painful rebuttal.

From Fox News:

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, took to social media late Tuesday evening to swipe his Democratic competition, highlighting the small crowd that showed up to a recent campaign event.

“Wow, Six people showed up in San Antonio,” Cruz wrote on X, responding to a post from Democratic challenger Rep. Colin Allred, one of eleven candidates running in the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate in Texas on March 5, 2024.

Lol, ouch! Colin Allred is one of several Democrats trying to build momentum against Sen. Ted Cruz. He visited San Antonio, where he thought he could build up steam in his campaign against the Republican.

Allred posted photos from an event, where is met with a few people and seemingly took selfies with bar employees. Allred even claimed that Bexar County, like the rest of Texas, was ready to “fire” Sen. Cruz.

Cruz didn’t have to do much to strike back. This “rising” star could only bring out a handful of people for his event. In a county with over 2 million residents, it doesn’t seem they are all that fired up to see Allred.

Perhaps that is because Texans don’t really want to fire Ted Cruz. Why would they replace a conservative who values what Texans value, with a liberal who will support Biden’s open border, rising taxes, and limp economy?

Democrats have a hard case to make to any red state. Red states are surviving these days because they are rejecting Biden’s radical leftist agenda. Texas is in a war to protect the border from illegal aliens and drug cartels. Do Texans really think that will get better if someone like Allred is elected to the Senate?

Clearly, they do not.

Key Takeaways:

  • A Democrat running for the Senate primaries tried to take a swipe at Sen. Ted Cruz.
  • The candidate claimed Texans are ready to “fire Ted Cruz” at an event in San Antonio.
  • Cruz mocked the Democrat, pointing out only six people attended his event.
