Michael Cohen’s Bombshell Confession Drops – He Just Admitted His Shocking Crime in Court

Michael Cohen was Democrats’ star witness in the case against Donald Trump. The former Trump employee claimed to have testimony proving prosecutors’ charge that Trump falsified business records.

But Cohen’s testimony might have done far more harm than good, for the left. He admitted a bias against Trump. He was outed for lying to Congress and under oath. The biggest bombshell, however, was when he admitted to stealing from Trump.

From Just the News:
On his final day of questioning, Cohen also admitted that he stole money from the Trump Organization because he felt like it was owed to him.

In 2017, the Trump Organization owed technology company Red Finch $50,000… Cohen, who helped facilitate the transaction, asked for a $100,000 reimbursement, “grossed up” to account for taxes, from the Trump Organization.

However, on the stand Monday, Cohen admitted that he stole from Trump, only paying $20,000 to Red Finch and pocketing the remaining $60,000 for himself.

So, the man with the “key” evidence to doom Trump, admitted to stealing from Trump. That can’t, in any way, help the case against Trump. It could only convince jurors that this man is untrustworthy.

Even CNN said that the crime Cohen admitted to is worse than what Trump is on trial for.

From The Post Millennial:
CNN senior legal analyst Elie Honig on Monday noted that star prosecutor’s witness in DA Alvin Bragg’s case against Trump, Michael Cohen, is guilty of a “more serious of a crime” than those Trump is alleged to have committed.

With the prosecutors’ case seemingly falling apart, Trump’s lawyers are calling on the judge to do the right thing. But how will this liberal-leaning judge respond?

From Fox News:
At the end of court for the day, Trump defense attorney Todd Blanche asked for an immediate order of dismissal, saying there is “no evidence” that the filings or business records at the center of the case were false, that there are “absolutely no false business filings.”…

“There is no way the court should let this case go to the jury with Mr. Cohen’s testimony,” Blanche said, adding that Cohen has lied under oath in the past and during the current criminal trial in Merchan’s courtroom.

Trump’s lawyers are demanding the judge dismiss this entire criminal case, based on Cohen’s testimony. It appears Cohen has repeatedly shown himself to be an untrustworthy witness. His claims that Trump broke the law appear to be based on his own hatred for his former boss, not on any evidence presented during the trial.

The fact that Cohen stole money from the Trump organization should tank his credibility. He took money that was supposed to go to someone else and kept it for himself. Why he has not been prosecuted by New York is anyone’s guess.

It is unknown how the judge will respond. He has shown a bias and contempt for Trump and his defense. Critics have accused him and his family of working with Democrats, and he might refuse to dismiss this trial even now.

But with Cohen failing so terribly, the jury might be unable to produce the guilty verdict the left wants.

Key Takeaways:

  • Michael Cohen admitted to stealing $60,000 from Trump while working for him.
  • Trump’s lawyers called on the judge to once again dismiss the trial.
  • Cohen’s testimony appeared to hurt the prosecution’s case more than help it.
