We learned this week that missionaries and other Americans are trapped in war-torn Haiti. One group reached out to the Biden administration for help. But the State Department refused, claiming it was “too dangerous.”

After the Biden administration refused to help Americans stranded in Haiti, Cory Mills managed to get ten out of Port au Prince. The city is where the gang war is at its worst. Somehow, the Republican congressman was able to secure a helicopter and airlift these Americans to safety.
One of the people was author Mitch Albom, who runs an orphanage of about 60 children. He and nine other Americans were visiting the facility, when the war broke out.
Criminals captured the airport, preventing anyone from leaving. Other Americans had asked the State Department for help. But Biden’s administration seems unwilling to help anyone, even it seems members of its own embassy.
While Biden does nothing, Rep. Mills found a way to save these Americans. And he continues to work to find ways of helping other Americans stranded.
Biden has discussed welcoming as many as 40,000 Haitian refugees. Yet he has no plans to help the hundreds of Americans stuck in Haiti.
