What’s Happening:
You know what Americans like to see on Capitol Hill? Less talk and more action, as long as it isn’t borrowing more of our children and grandchildren’s money for their liberal spending projects.
And now that the GOP has a majority in the House, we’re finally seeing some action on stunning injustices that were completely ignored under President Biden.
Thankfully, 3 of Biden’s top men just got served, and they must be sweating right about now. From Fox News:
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan subpoenaed FBI Director Christopher Wray on Friday, compelling him to turn over documents and communications related to the FBI’s “misuse of federal criminal and counterterrorism resources” to target parents at school board meetings.
Jordan also subpoenaed Garland and Education Secretary Miguel Cardona for documents related to the same matter.
Has there anything more frustrating than watching the FBI investigate parents who showed up to school board meetings to speak their minds?
Well, that’s a loaded question. Because under Biden, there are so many ignored disasters, such as the Southern border, crime, inflation, Afghanistan, Ukraine… need we go on?
But this one hits home. This comes down to a fundamental question: are your children your own? Or are they the government’s responsibility?
Because American parents discovered in the middle of the pandemic shutdown that teachers were feeding their kids stunning propaganda, unspeakable books, and they demanded accountability.
Many school boards responded by trying to shut these parents down, claiming they had no say in what their children are being taught.
This resulted in an exodus of families from public schools to other private solutions, but it also let to a significant abuse of power.
Biden’s administration, through the “neutral, non-partisan” FBI, investigated parents who were upset at these school boards that refused to listen.
This may be even worse than the IRS abuse under the Obama administration, when it targeted conservatives for audits.
Jim Jordan’s subpoenas a good first step toward justice. Hopefully it doesn’t stop there—because Americans don’t demand talk when injustice happens.
They demand real action. Action that throws corrupt leadership out on their butts, or even better, behind bars.
Key Takeaways:
- After parents questioned school boards during the pandemic, the FBI launched investigations into some parents.
- Now that Republicans control the house, Jim Jordan has subpoenaed the FBI director, Attorney General and Education Secretary.
- Jordan seems determined to hold the state apparatus responsible if their power was abused.
