16 States File New Lawsuit Against Biden Administration on New Pathway to Citizenship

Sixteen Republican-led states have just teamed up to file a major lawsuit against the Joe Biden and Kamala Harris administration. They are suing over the Biden-Harris administration’s plan to give 1.3 million illegal immigrants what many are describing as “immediate executive amnesty.”

Throughout their entire time in power, Biden and Harris have repeatedly shown that they prioritize illegal aliens over American citizens. Now, these states have finally had enough, and they’re fighting back in a big way.

The lawsuit, which was filed on Friday, hits back against the Biden-Harris administration’s new parole-in-place program. According to the lawsuit, this plan “effectively provides a new pathway to citizenship for more than a million illegal aliens.”

From Daily Wire:
“Longstanding federal law prohibits aliens who entered the United States unlawfully from obtaining most immigration benefits,” the lawsuit states, addressing the Biden-Harris administration program that would allow some illegal aliens to stay in the United States while requesting parole status.

“This includes obtaining lawful permanent resident status—without first leaving the United States and waiting outside the United States for the requisite time—based on an approved family-based or employment-based visa petition,” the suit goes on to say.

The Biden-Harris administration has claimed that only around 550,000 illegal immigrants would be eligible for the parole-in-place amnesty. However, the lawsuit alleges that there is good reason to believe that this is “a significant underestimate.” The sixteen states argue that the actual number could be roughly 1.3 million.

If there’s one thing that the Biden-Harris administration has shown over the past four years, it’s that nothing they say can be trusted. This is particularly true when it comes to illegal immigration. After all, it wasn’t so long ago that Biden and Harris were literally flying illegal immigrants across the border through an asylum program, then not counting them as crossovers.

The sixteen states that have joined forces on this lawsuit are Texas, Idaho, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Wyoming.

Border Crisis Escalates Under Biden

The border crisis has become worse than ever under Biden. Since he took office, millions of illegal aliens have flooded our borders from all over the world.

When it comes to the border, perhaps the only thing more terrifying than another four years of Biden being in power is a Harris presidency. One of the few tasks that Harris was actually given as vice president was to be Biden’s “border czar,” and to clean up the situation at the border. While Harris traveled to Central America to figure out the “root causes” of this crisis, things only got worse when it came to illegal immigration.

Years later, the border crisis has continued to escalate, with Harris doing virtually nothing to turn the situation around. In fact, if anything, she’s actively made it worse by continuing to send the message to the world that it’s easier than ever to get into the U.S. illegally.

We applaud these sixteen states for filing this landmark lawsuit against the Biden-Harris administration. In doing so, they’re prioritizing the American people in a way that Biden and Harris never have.

Key Takeaways:

  • Sixteen states teamed up to sue the Biden-Harris administration.
  • They’re suing over a plan to allegedly give as much as 1.3 illegal aliens “immediate executive amnesty.”
  • Biden and Harris care about illegal immigrants more than they do about American citizens.
