At the very least vote!!&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;On July 19th I was elected as Precinct Administrator for Clark County Nevada by the Clark County Republican Central Committee. I'm not trying to gloat, I was unopposed. However, the reason I was unopposed is because the job of Precinct Administrator is not easy. In fact it is a very tough job with the only possible reward a faint light at the end of the tunnel, but someone has to get it done. I am putting my time, money, and effort where my mouth is and so should you.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I started getting involved first when I set up my blog "The Patriot Journal" and then later started attending my local Republican party meetings. The job of Precinct Administrator will allow me to interact with hundreds if not thousands of like minded Republican voters and that will be a treat.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I plan on keeping everyone informed periodically here on the progress my team at the CCRP and I are making turning Clark County back to red. The Democrats in the Nevada legislature are obstructing Senate Bill 178. SB178 which in addition to making it a felony to threaten an illegal with revealing their immigration status in order to compel them to perform certain acts, also makes it mandatory for anyone registering to vote to show proof of citizenship. &lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;Call me crazy but I don't see a problem with that in the least. In fact I am angry that this law is necessary in order to stop people from voting illegally in the first place. I shouldn't have to remind everyone but, voting is a right, secured in the blood and treasure of our Founding Fathers and in every generation since. To allow our voting rights to be given improvidently to foreign nationals with little or no vested interest in our country, or well being, is criminal. &lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;This bill has no hidden agenda or surprises like the National Health Care bill aka "Obamacare", it is simple and straightforward. Not one Nevadan I have talked to opposes this bill, which leads me to believe there is no constituency based political reason for the Democrats to oppose it. &lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;The Democrats do want illegals to vote, let me explain why. People coming from any country and remaining here illegally are most likely poor and uneducated. They are the perfect food for the Democrat vulture because the educated cannot be as easily lied to and controlled. The Democrats have thrived on the use of illegals as a huge source for their power in recent years, by stirring every emotional trigger imaginable in Americans, be it race or social class etc. Then they use these as a hammer to bash Conservatives and paint us as uncaring of the downtrodden, a patent lie that we must destroy.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;Therefore, as long as there are poor and uneducated, which there has to be to sustain Democrats, they will continue to claim to protect them from the "bogeyman", and promise them money and benefits in exchange for their votes, which in turn secures their power. The more the better for them, and foreign illegals are an endless supply. &lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;Illegal aliens voting Democrat is what they want, and what has been happening for a long time. This is also why Democrats support Social Security, Medicaid, and welfare benefits for illegals, these being the promises fulfilled for voting for them. The Democrats use our tax dollars to help illegals bankrupt us. Their final goal is to consume all power and maintain themselves as a ruling class while the rest of us remain subservient to them and exist on what they think we should have. &lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;Are you angry yet? I am, and I am sure I can speak for most Nevadans, and most Americans in general that this scenario is not an option. We must not let them continue to obstruct what is right and force down our throats what is wrong. Every Conservative has a duty to expose the Democrats for what they are, and to educate apathetic and ignorant Nevadans to the Democrat obstruction of SB178 which protects our precious right to vote.&amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;Please call your State Senator and Assemblyman and let them know that we want SB178 passed through committee and given an up or down vote on the floor. The people that read my articles by subscription know where America stands in their hearts. I don't have to think twice when I think about what this country means to me. It's automatic, close behind God and Family. Those are the only two that are more important to me. If saving America meant I had to denounce my Christian God or do harm to my family, I would let America go because it would already be doomed with or without my support. &lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;That is how much I love this country. However, much to my profound sadness, not every American feels the way I do. It makes me sick to my stomach that people so spoiled by the leisure lifestyle provided them by the blood, treasure, and honor of others, is so easily spat upon. There are people that I work with that could care less what happens to America as long as they get what they feel they deserve. &lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;No job or government program is worth letting America die. I would gladly give up my job and look for a new one if it meant saving America. The era of government filling the role of God and family, must, and will end, lest we be tossed onto the ash heap of history. The selfish nature of humans is nothing new, but the degree of narcissism we see displayed in plain view now, bereft of any stigma whatsoever, is astonishing to me. It makes me long for the days of the 1980's let alone the 1950's. &lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;So many workers are willing to kill the golden goose rather than take a smaller egg. Look at the UAW and the auto industry. Most of those workers are not college educated and too old to retrain to another industry. If they are willing to throw logic into the toilet when it comes to matters of daily living, what do you think they would do if it came down to them or America? Again, that answer scares me. &lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;There is a way to combat this however and it is all about education. Most Americans have no clue what the Constitutional boundaries of the federal government are, nor do they know anything about what the founders envisioned. You cannot appreciate where you are going if you do not know where you come from. &lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;The "dumbing down" of America has been a slow but deliberate process that was crafted by nefarious people for pernicious outcomes. The architects of the "Progressive" era were nasty, terrible, people who thought of us like Mengele thought of Jews in Germany. Even though Americans have had to eradicate many enemies from within during the course of our short history, we have always prevailed because of brave Patriots who understood why America is exceptional. &lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;We cannot blame the young skateboarder that hasn't a clue what the Constitution is. We must blame ourselves for letting public education be hijacked by leftists, but we don't have the luxury of time or effort for blame. It is imperative to think of the ways to solve this problem, immediately. There was a point in every one of our lives where we went from child to Patriot. That point is where we must get every American that isn't there already.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;We must articulate to the ignorant, the importance of the preservation of America, and the impact a failure would be to their lives and the lives of the ones they love. When things become personal they become a whole lot more important. America is not like any other country in history, we know why and we must pass this knowledge on. America is grace under pressure and it is up to us to relieve that pressure. Past generations have overcome worse threats to the existence and health of our republic. I have no doubt we are up to the challenge, and we are every bit as Patriotic as anyone in history. I don't mean savior as in Christ. I mean savior of the Conservative movement. Obama has done more to resurrect the Conservative movement than any leader since Ronald Reagan. God Bless the soul of that man, who by the way would have been 100 years old on the sixth of February. &lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;Think about what Obama has done for your psyche. He has gotten every Conservative off the couch and out into the street and town square holding picket signs. When was the last time that has happened? He has angered the hard left by not closing down Guantanamo, then compromising with the new Republican House on the extension of the Bush Tax Cuts. Of course he has done damage and that is not good, but there is a silver lining to that too.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;He and the far left Congress committed the ultimate sin however when they legislated against the will of the people. Passing the Obamacare bill by cramming it down our throats exposed the democrats for what they are, power hungry, arrogant, and duplicitous. With that one piece of legislation and the following attacks on the Tea Party, which is a true grassroots movement, they have sealed their fate in the present and near future. &lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;I look at my actions before and after Obama was elected. I started a blog and have become very active in my local Republican party in addition to partying with the Tea Party. As soon as the 870 billion stimulus bill was signed I knew what we were up against. I like everyone else was hoping for the best but got the worst, a far left Alinsky ideologue. The number of people that I personally have heard who are regretful they voted for him is astounding. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;Put all of his wonderful attributes together with a ready and willing leftist Congress and voila! you have a perfect political storm to sew the seeds to the latest Conservative revival. You say "so what, so did Johnson 1968 and Carter in 1980". You are right, both Johnson and Carter helped revive Conservatism, but not like this.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;The difference today as opposed to 1968 and 1980 is, people are much better informed now, and are paying more attention now thanks to the internet and 24 hour news. People are thinking about how decisions in Medicare are affecting them personally. All of these factors coupled with blatant duplicity and utter contempt for the taxpayer, have made this time special&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;This time is special because for the first time in my life people are thinking twice about the practicality, the wisdom, and the constitutionality of the leftist "sacred cows" Social Security and Medicare. (Of course only to be phased out after all of the contributors have collected their deposits and the mandate has been lifted) Oh and it gets better! People are also talking about the need for a complete constitutional audit to be done on everything the federal government is involved in. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;This means rolling back the creeping death "progressive" period that was set into place in the beginning decades of the 20th century. It also means that lots of government bureaucracy could be headed to the trash heap. We could finally get rid of cabinet positions that are not authorized by the Constitution like the Dept. of Health and Human Services, Education, Energy and Housing and Urban Development. These, in addition to throwing out a myriad of agencies, and bureaus that regulate or control aspects of government that the states are authorized, per the Constitution, to control.&amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;Obama has truly awoken a sleeping giant who is not only big but much smarter and much more savvy. We live and defend these&amp;nbsp;principles every day we are alive. Conservative principles are not fluid nor are they amendable. They do not change with the times. They are set in stone, unchanging and steadfast. They are the cornerstone and the foundation of this great nation and are displayed brilliantly in our founding documents.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Faith:&lt;br&gt;Faith in God is the most important principle. God provides the moral stability that every standard of conduct&amp;nbsp;is based. The Holy Bible is basically the owner's manual to life. People without it are lost. In order to act properly in a civilized society you must believe in a higher power greater than yourself in judgment. The Founding Fathers were Christians and believed that everything they&amp;nbsp;had, or were ever going to have, was a gift from God,&amp;nbsp;not to be denied any man by government or anyone else. Using inspiration from God's word they crafted the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America, both of which boldly display the irrefutable influence of the "creator".&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Honor:&lt;br&gt;Your word is paramount in this world. A true Conservative would never let their honor come into question. Personal accountability is never an issue. You do what you promise to do and expect the same from others. You live by example always. If you sign your name on the dotted line you complete your contract. It's as simple as that. You pay your bills and do the things that might be&amp;nbsp;more difficult at the time but give you the satisfaction in the long run that you have what you have because you worked for it. You honor your family by protecting your honor. You always remember that your honor is a reflection not just on yourself but also everything and everyone you associate with. Real wealth is not what number shows up next to your name on a bank account receipt, but rather how respected your honor is in the eyes of others, friend of foe. Honor will give you confidence and drive to achieve all that you can achieve. A true Conservative is honorable as a way of life.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h1&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 18px;" face="Georgia"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Patriotism:&lt;br&gt;This one is dear to my heart. For any American not to feel proud when they hear the "Star Spangled Banner" or see the Flag waving in the wind is not a Patriot in my eyes. I know they are just symbols, but they are symbols of the greatest nation humans have ever produced. Americans now are enjoying the fruits of labor of 233 years, and generations of blood, sweat, and tears of American ancestry before them. A lot of respect is due the Founders and ancestors before us, just as alot of responsibility lies on our shoulders to pass on the Founders vision to the next generation.&amp;nbsp;As a Patriot you believe that&amp;nbsp;our country, created by the Declaration of Independence and governed by the Constitution&amp;nbsp;is just, and does not need change from the vision of the Founders.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; These are the very basic principles of Conservatism. Some people will mention "small government" or the "pro-life" stance etc. These too are conservative principles but they fall into the basic three. I will cover all of those subjects as well on this blog.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; There are people that will not like my choices of the "Basic Conservative Principles". Some have told me that they are too broad or are too deep. I do not know what they mean by this. Basic means basic. I am starting out at the foundation. Faith, Honor, and Patriotism are the true basic principles of Founding Father Conservatism. Everything truly Conservative originates from these three just as everything in government must originate from the founding documents.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I also have some tell me that "Faith" is not a necessity to be a Founding Father Conservative. I say they are wrong. While there were some atheists and agnostics that helped the Revolution, the men that wrote our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution were men of faith. They believed that God gave us our rights, not men and certainly not government. If you do not believe me read the opening line of the second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence. Everyone in the world has&amp;nbsp;read this.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;----&amp;nbsp;"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness".----&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; It couldn't be more clear than that. There is no way to reconcile Conservative principles in the vision of the Founders with&amp;nbsp;a rejection of God. I do not&amp;nbsp;judge atheists&amp;nbsp;and agnostics. I pray they find God&amp;nbsp;someday and&amp;nbsp;still&amp;nbsp; welcome their help in defeating the Godless left.&amp;nbsp;The Basic Conservative Principles are a code of life for me that is best&amp;nbsp;explained by my creed at the top of this blog; God, Family, and America. I couldn't be happier that we Patriots chose America and not the path to disaster. However, damage is still being done and will continue to be done until Obama is gone and the Senate is back in Conservative hands. Only then will "We The People" have the political power to roll back the damage the leftists have done. I honestly did celebrate and had a great time Tuesday night, but when I woke up Wednesday I knew it was time to start working on step two.&amp;nbsp; &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;h1&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 18px; font-family: georgia;"&gt;The election of 2010 will go down in history as one of the most resounding rejections of a President and his policies since the founding of the country. A whopping 32 House Representatives who voted for Obamacare were shown the door. It was surreal seeing democrat after democrat losing. After what had to happen, and in the proportions it had to happen in, anyone who would vote for a leftist again needs their head examined. Yes, I realize that some people are always going to use emotion rather than logic when selecting candidates, but I keep praying for that 100% common sense rate to appear. I'm a dreamer I know.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;
&lt;h1&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 18px; font-family: georgia;"&gt;What happened Tuesday was exactly what was expected and more. The races we hoped to win but didn't were extreme long shots in the first place. But, even those races were closer than they have ever been and scared the leftists to the core. What is expected now is the march to November 6, 2012. That day will be "Judgment Day" for Obama and another third of the Senate. If we keep our momentum moving full steam ahead, we will take the Senate back with another 6 or 7 seat gain and rid ourselves of the worst president we have ever had. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;
&lt;h1&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 18px; font-family: georgia;"&gt;In the meantime we must continue on and double our efforts to educate the ignorant and motivate the apathetic. Like Sean Hannity has said, this is merely a plug in the bottom of the boat. We can put a halt to the runaway spending but the effects of what has been done will keep us in grave danger for years to come. Please do not think that the 2010 election is the zenith, it is not. Now, together with you my fellow Patriots we fight on. Remember the first Patriots of the Revolutionary War, they were in the field, fighting for 8 years. The phrase "personal accountability" has been uttered so much lately that I am not sure if people even understand what it means anymore. It's one of those simple, over used phrases that people never give more than a second of thought, and certainly never hold anyone to. There is absolutely no stigma attached to voluntary ignorance, or the lack of effort anymore whatsoever. In fact it's just the opposite, ignorance and laziness are glorified. This is the most troubling thing to me about our modern society.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
For those who do not know what personal accountability means let me explain. Personal accountability is being responsible for your actions and your own sustenance. It is living up to your contracts, and most importantly your word. If others cannot trust your word you are in deep trouble. Personal accountability is honor. Without honor you will get nowhere in life, and will be abandoned by any friend you might have picked up along the way.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
One of the most important lessons I learned in life was that very few people in the world really care about you and to hold those people dear. The other important lesson was taught to me by my mother. She told me that no one owed me anything, and that if I wanted anything in life, I was going to have to work for it. No one is perfect, but if you at least understand the concept of this you &lt;span style="font-size: 18px;"&gt;exponentially &lt;/span&gt;raise your odds of surviving in the world.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Personal accountability is not something that comes naturally, just like getting up for work or doing anything strenuous. I am convinced that a good portion of the population would collect a check and sit on the couch for the duration of their lives if they could get away with it, and that is frightening&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: georgia; font-size: 18px;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 18px;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 18px;"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt; If you learn nothing else, personal accountability must be taught if you are to accomplish anything&lt;/span&gt;. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
There is a wonderful freedom and sense of accomplishment when you can live on your own for the first time and supply yourself with the necessities of life without the help of your parents or anyone else. When you can enjoy the fruits of your own labor and thrive, there is no turning back. The maturity from creating your own niche in the world also usually removes any sense of entitlement or victimhood. How anyone could not want that feeling is foreign to me, but it is prevalent in society today.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="font-family: georgia; font-size: 18px;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;It always starts with your first teachers, your parents. Your parents shape your life in so many ways that it is truly a blessing to have good ones. A parent's first instinct is to coddle their children and shield them from the pitfalls of the world. This as everyone knows, is the worst thing they can do. It's hard for parents to use tough love to teach their children, but if you have no sense of value, you will not value anything. Remember that personal accountability is a learned habit, not an inherent trait.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I don't know why we are not worse off than we already are. For years parents have run their households like little socialist models. The parents work and give the children whatever they need or want. In alot of cases the children virtually run the household. No wonder that so many children leave home and expect the world to take care of them, then feel victimized when it doesn't turn out their way. Of course like in the government model coddling is not sustainable for any length of time. The parent does not want to support a child for life just like the workers gets sick of paying for and supporting the free-loader. Sure it is different in the parent/child dynamic, but you can see that this sort of upbringing is not conducive to producing a productive adult in the end. Somewhere along the line you have to learn, that only you can make your life good.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I firmly believe President Obama is a person who grew up without anyone to teach him that he is not entitled. Obama has been lucky in the sense that he has had someone that has coddled him in every step of his life. He has never had to work very hard and has had his life planned for a long time by others that knew they could advance their ideology using him. Obama would be a psychologists dream. He is the epitome of the spoiled child turned into spoiled adult. Unfortunately we cannot afford this kind of man leading the free world. Obama has been a complete disaster that will take many years to recover from. We all must hold him accountable for his performance as president.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Without personal accountability there is no confidence in oneself which leads to insecurity, the sense of victimhood, and all of the other bad habits, traits, and behaviors motivated by emotion. Obama obviously does not believe in the concept of personal accountability and we are all paying for it.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Parents can stop this trend at home by simply not spoiling their children and teaching them the value of the dollar, a good days work and most of all, honor. If the current trend does not end we will all pay a heavy price. The good of all of this is that Obama is unknowingly skylining a problem that has been bubbling under the surface for years. I believe a founding principles renaissance is here and is going to blossom to restore our country and society to the potential they possess. God bless us all.&lt;br /&gt;

It is amazing to see the smartest people on the planet give up. How do I know they are the smartest people on the planet? Because they and Obama said they were. They are Ivy League intellectuals that are part of a mutual, pat each other on the back, and tell each other they are great, society. Obama said it himself, he was going to assemble the smartest economic team the country had to offer. They were going to show dummy George Bush and the rest of us serfs just how important they were. We should "thank them" is how Obama put it. Three of them have left the Obama administration for obvious reasons. They include Christina Romer, Peter Orszag, and Lawrence Summers. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
They all had different titles and for the sake of brevity I will not get into their titles or offices they held. They were first and foremost serving as advisors to the president on economic and budgetary policy. If it wasn't as bad as it is in America, this would be funny. This could be a joke on a late night talk show. However it is bad in America right now and these three people along with Obama are to blame. They also are all believers in "Keynesian" economic theory. It was conjured up by a British economist named John Maynard Keynes, and basically assumes that central government control is better equipped to stabilize the economy than than the private sector. We all know how well central government control over economies work in the examples of Cuba and the former Soviet Union. The theory has never worked in many tries, but is still not abandoned by the left. They love the power that it gives the ruling elite.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Here is their education backgrounds; Christina Romer was educated at MIT and is currently a professor at Berkeley. Why parents and students would spend hard earned money to learn failed economic theory in college is beyond me. Peter Orszag was educated at Princeton, and Lawrence Summers was educated at Harvard and is the recipient of the John Bates Clark Medal which is another leftist self appreciation prize they give each other. Funny how Arthur Laffer didn't win that medal, but that is another topic altogether.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
If these people are the best and brightest, what does that say about our colleges of higher learning? I wouldn't send my children to an Ivy League school if they paid me to let them go. The leftists have virtually destroyed our once world class institutions of higher learning. This is why a Classical Education is so important (read about a classical education in my "conservative resources sites" link). These people are so closed off from the rest of us that they couldn't possibly know what works on main street. They are too busy competing for what looks great on paper in a perfect, leftist, utopian world. A world by the way which will never happen because of human nature and the need to be free.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Common sense seems to be lacking in the entire Obama administration. But like I have said before, this entire ordeal has nothing to do with intellect or common sense. It has everything to do with the grab for power and the want of the left to collapse the capitalist, free market economy that currently is dangling by a thread. Economics either micro or macro are all based on human nature and  human nature never changes. It is not that complicated, and certainly not as complicated as they want you to think it is. The left just can't seem to come up with a good, palatable transition from free to slave. These self-proclaimed "intellectuals" do not believe that America and Americans are exceptional. They believe we are serfs waiting to be lead around by the nose. I am so proud of America today! The final few primary races for Senate are done and more RINO's are on the street. Conservative Christine O'Donnell, who was cast aside as a mere speed bump on the road to RINO Mike Castle's victory tour to the Senate, has given the Republican establishment all over the country and especially in her home state of Delaware a thumping. Ovide &lt;strong&gt;Lamontagne&lt;/strong&gt; just barely lost out to establishment candidate Kelly Ayotte for Senate in New Hampshire, but Carl Paladino drops a huge stink bomb on the RINO GOP in New York by knocking off Rick Lazio in the primary for Governor.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
We are not going to win all of these primaries and probably not all of the general elections. But the damage to the future of the RINO establishment is profound. "WE THE PEOPLE" are bypassing them. We have the power in this country, not the deal makers in smokey rooms. If we could only stay this engaged in the political process every cycle, there wouldn't be a problem with government ever. Let these victories sink in and let you see that each individual vote does make a huge difference. The RINO's are complicit with the democrats in ruining our great country, and your votes are making them pay the political price. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Mike Castle voted for Cap and Trade and was on record as saying that he wouldn't vote to repeal Obamacare. Is that the kind of Republican that anyone wants in the Senate? The answer this year is a resounding no. The RINO establishment keeps saying that to vote for Conservatives in the primary in blue states is giving the general election to the democrats. In my humble opinion, saving colorful metaphors for private use, I would much rather have 41 solid as a rock Conservatives in the Senate than 51 with 10 RINO's voting with the democrats all the time killing everyone's spirit like Scott Brown. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
America is sick and tired of RINO's. Like Reagan said, we need bold differences from the leftist democrats, not pastels. A united front of solidly Conservative Senators will be a powerful force even in the minority. I am still convinced that we are going to win the Senate outright anyway. I think Americans are ready for the adults to take back the government. The Tea Parties and the fed up populace are forcing the contrast. No longer is "R" for Republican good enough, you are now going to have to prove it. RINO's up for re-election in 2012 beware, because your records are not in the shadows anymore. The entire Republican establishment is going to be re-made in the Reagan Conservative mold. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
RINO's are worse than democrats. Don't get me wrong, democrats are truly the enemies of America but RINO's are worse, they are the Benedict Arnold's of Founding Father Conservatism. RINO's sell us out every time it counts. Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins the two Republican Senators from Maine should switch to the democrat party, because they are never going to be Conservative. The northeastern states and the local GOP offices there should not be allowed to operate using the name "Republican". They give all of us a bad name. People in the northeast have never seen a Conservative candidate. A Republican from Texas would not recognize eastern Republicans. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The conventional wisdom was that Conservative candidates could not win in the northeast. This is a ridiculous notion that keeps power in the hands of leftists without a challenge from any Conservative. People seem to forget that Ronald Reagan won every single northeastern state in 1984 with a very Conservative agenda. Conservatism and it's results are always popular every time it happens. People are paying attention now and educating themselves. The reason this is happening at all is because leftist policies always fail and after 4 years of democrat rule of Congress and 2 years of Obama the American people are doing what desperately needs to be done. President Obama is running around the country to college campuses trying to drum up support for all of his failed initiatives and for democrat Congressmen and Senators in general. Well, not with them, because they don't want to be seen with him as he is becoming radioactive for democrat candidates. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In these staged, teleprompter, pre-written joke speeches he is lying to all of us. He is saying that the Bush administration lost 8 million jobs and his administration created 3 million jobs. He is also saying that the Bush administration was responsible for the recession. These are blatant, bald face lies. But, even after all of that has happened there still are some people who hold out hope that Obama is really doing what is right.&lt;br /&gt;

These individuals will never get it, but there is an overwhelming majority who voted for Obama and are now embarrassed. One person told me that voting for Obama in hindsight was almost as bad as recommending Bernie Madoff to your elderly parents. That's how angry people are. "Judgment Day" is going to be a disaster for Obama and the democrats. I remember seeing a t-shirt online somewhere on a man at a Tea Party that said "If you shove it down our throats in 2009, we'll stick it up your a** in 2010" That pretty much explains it wherever I go.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The insult is trying to lie to us and tell us different. Americans in 2010 are not the ignorant working slobs of the 1930's, far from it. The internet and the alternative media have been bringing us the truth for a decade now. Glenn Beck a nobody three years ago, drew five hundred thousand people to the Lincoln Memorial to talk about honor. That's a miracle from God if you ask me. This is not going to be just your regular old 20% percent show up to vote mid-term election. This is going to be felt around the world and is going to stick out like a sore thumb in history books of the next hundred years.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Harry Reid is another liar that has zero to campaign on. What is he going to campaign on? Nevada has almost 15% unemployment, so he can't campaign on all of the phantom 3 million jobs he and Obama have created. In reality he can only attack Sharron Angle and that is what he is doing, but not on the issues. He is doing what every leftist does, he is following Alinsky, attack, attack, attack. Sharron Angle is not a brilliant campaigner at all. She is not going to give rousing campaign speeches and wow the crowd with her Harvard vocabulary. She is much more intelligent than that and sticks to the Conservative issues we care about. In other words she is like most of all of us, and is definitely as Conservative as all of us. That is what I want! &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I want honesty. I want honesty that what you tell me during the campaign you are going to do when you are elected. If things aren't done because not enough others in Congress will vote with you it is understood. Knowing this, your record had better be exactly like you portrayed yourself in the campaign or else you are gone next time. It's as simple as that. We all must be vigilant and hold our elected officials accountable just like we are now. I was doing my usual preaching, of the moral, civic, and financial advantages of Conservatism at work one day, when someone passed by and said; "Why do you care, you're only one vote anyway". I won't go into the lecture that I gave the person, but I pointed out to the others I was speaking to, that it is sad that there are people who think this way. It is sad because these people have given up the power to pick the caretakers of our freedoms and our children's freedoms. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Do you think Obama is a good caretaker of our freedoms? I don't either, but I can say I voted for McCain, and had done the research to conclude what is happening now was going to happen now if a radical like Obama was elected. That is not to say that McCain was going to be a good president. Controlling our party would have prevented McCain, but that is another subject. At least I voted. At least I was involved. None of us who care about America and the future of our way of life can say it doesn't matter anymore. It matters now more than ever. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Most people who like to generalize what is going on, or rattle off a sound bite they heard on the nightly news are usually uninformed, not always, but most of the time. If you don't come to your own conclusions you are going to be a drone for someone else. When did Americans change from being the most productive, hard working, and ruggedly individualistic people on the planet, to being lazy, and wanting a pay off of other peoples hard earned money? Everyone knows this kind of thinking is not going to work, and that nothing is ever free. Why do our people want something for free? Everyone should also know that anything you receive from the government is going to come with attachments and rules. It doesn't work the way everyone thinks it will.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This line of thinking is passed on from generation to generation. I am ashamed to say that members of my own extended family have received parental instruction on how to scam a living from the government and of course they have passed it on to their children. The cycle is continuing for alot of people as we speak. The leftists want this, they want people counting on government for sustenance. It gives them control, and guarantees your vote. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Think about it, if you get food stamps, the government will dictate what food you eat. If we all get stuck with Obamacare we will get to see a doctor when the government wants us to. If we need surgery or medicine, the government will tell us whether or not we can have it and when. Sooner or later, the leftists would have all industry under government control, so we would all be working for the government. Housing, cars, health care, food, you name it and they want to control it. Elections do have consequences, and Obama is the first to point that out.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Are we really ready to give up all of our freedoms because we want to be lazy and collect a check for nothing? The ignorant do not realize that as soon as the leftists have complete control there will be no unemployment ever again. You will not be collecting a check and not working. You will be working harder than ever and with whatever paycheck the government wants to give you. Ask expatriates from Russia that are old enough to know. They will tell you that freedom is why they are in America and not in Russia. I would rather die fighting, than live in a hell like that.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This scenario has happened a number of times in the world with terrible consequences. The Soviet Union was the best example of leftist ideals incorporated into government for the purpose of a totalitarian state. What happened with that? It failed, that's what happened. It failed just like every other leftist experiment. It wasn't Lenin, Stalin, or Krushchev who suffered. It was the people of the Soviet Union who suffered with the shortages and the government rationing. I remember in the 80's seeing pictures that had been sneaked out, of old women waiting in bread lines as long as a city block and longer. Millions died under these leftist rulers. Is that an experiment we want to try again because a minority leftist fringe wants it. Hell no it isn't what we want, but if we do not wise up and get involved, it will happen.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Evil preys on ignorance. Obama told everyone what they wanted to hear. Things were going to be great, the sun was going to shine, milk and honey was going to be abundant. It's not great eighteen months later. Obama has only achieved one thing and that is taking away more of our freedoms. The longer democrats have power the more of our choices will be taken away. Choices are freedom. When people actually believe that a government is going to take care of them the door for evil is left wide open. Remember that absolute power corrupts absolutely and never ever trust a government to take care of you. The Founding Fathers would tell you the same thing.&lt;br /&gt;

Here in Nevada we are in the midst of a very contentious election for the US Senate seat currently held by Harry Reid, the Majority Leader of the Senate. I’m sure many of you are familiar with this race and that Sharron Angle, a former Nevada state Senator, is Senator Reid’s opponent. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;
&lt;h1 style="margin-right: 0px;" dir="ltr" align="left"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: georgia; font-size: 18px;"&gt;Senator Reid and Mrs. Angle are both spending millions on television and radio advertisements continuously attacking each other. Senator Reid has a tremendous advantage money wise, and so you see and hear about 5 times as many ads attacking Mrs. Angle. But there is something that is missing from each of them in these ads.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;
&lt;h1 style="margin-right: 0px;" dir="ltr" align="left"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: georgia; font-size: 18px;"&gt;Over the past couple months, when looking at the opinion polls, we find that both candidates have about an equal amount of support among the voting public. However, neither seems to be able to move ahead of the other. I believe it’s because neither has demonstrated leadership in their campaigning. All you hear from either is how bad their opponents are. This is fine since negative campaigning works to a degree. I believe what voters really want is to be inspired and led.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;
&lt;h1 style="margin-right: 0px;" dir="ltr" align="left"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: georgia; font-size: 18px;"&gt;As an example I want to take you back to the 2008 presidential campaign. Specifically, I want you to remember the first presidential debate. During that debate the moderator, Jim Lehrer, asked President Obama and John McCain, "… are you willing to acknowledge, both of you, that this financial crisis is going to affect the way you rule the country as President of the United States…" I remember thinking how offensive this question was to me. My only thought was the people don’t want to be "ruled," they want to be led. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
We got rid of rulers more than 230 years ago when we told King George of England to go stick it and formed a country governed by the people. A country where leaders lead the people through good and bad times.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;
&lt;h1 style="margin-right: 0px;" dir="ltr" align="left"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: georgia; font-size: 18px;"&gt;So Senator Reid and Mrs. Angle if you want the undecided voter, who will help you win the election, start inspiring the people. Talk about how you will lead our country. Talk about what is good about America and how you intend to keep it there. Talk about freedom and liberty and how it is important to all of us. And most of all don’t let the thought that politicians want to rule the people go unchallenged.&lt;br /&gt;

He left Headline News to be hired by FOXNews and we all know the story after that. Saturday's Lincoln Memorial rally, organized by Beck, was perfect, not only because it was peaceful, clean, and orderly, but because it was a perfect message and timing. It was also a dagger in the heart of the anti-American left in more ways than one. To have God mentioned in Washington D.C. at the Lincoln Memorial on loud speakers is something that in this day and age is unprecedented. I saw video of the rally and the comparison photos from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's "I have a dream" speech and the crowds were comparable in size. That scares the hell out of the left and especially the mainstream media.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     The Tea Parties started up in February and March of 2009 and eventually had an incredible rally of over a million last Sept. 12. The initial organization started right after Obama slapped America with over a trillion dollars in debt by signing into law the failed "stimulus package". Since then as the democrat controlled government has shoved socialist bill after socialist bill down our throats, the movement had gotten larger and more determined. The furor over Obamacare had gone on for over a year and shortly after it was shoved down our throats things kind of quieted down. For Patriots it was seething anger being turned into action removing RINO's in their local GOP for the upcoming elections. For the left the perceived quiet was a window of opportunity to attack the Tea Party and try to recover in time for the mid-term elections. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     Beck's rally put a halt on any leftist dreams of somehow surviving politically in November. Not because of the rally itself but because it shows that Americans have not forgotten and are determined to do what they have to do to save the country. The Tea Party movement is really part of a bigger movement, which is the return to the Founders' &lt;span style="font-size: 18px;"&gt;Conservative &lt;/span&gt;roots. The rally states unequivically that we are not going away and that the movement is not going away either. The American populace is not stupid. We can see what the leftists in Congress and what Obama are trying to do. They aren't getting away with anything. They do what they do best, which is to lie straight to your face and without any shame whatsoever, and our job is to remove them. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     The size and message of the Beck rally slaps Obama and the other corrupt democrats in the face during this "recovery summer". Thirty years ago this kind of thing would never have happened. The mainstream leftist media controlled everything. The alternative media was non-existent then. No talk radio, no FOXNews, no blogs, no internet at all. The news you had access to was either from a leftist television network or a leftist newspaper. Those people had the power to choose what was news, and not news, and put whatever surrepticious spin they wanted on it. They had the power to sway government policy. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     Now with alternative sources of news, the public is able to get the true story. With new found sources of news comes knowledge, interest and new opinions on how to make our country and society better. The entire country is getting the education they were denied in school through alternative news and the internet. This is the tsunami that is sweeping the nation. Along with the alternative news, and the education, has come the burning need to go back to the foundations of all that we hold dear. It's true that you don't know what you have until it's gone. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     If you read the subheader on this site it says "God, Family, and America. Nothing else matters". It's true, nothing else does matter. If you know what it means to love God, your family and America you don't need to explain anything further because that credo encompasses everything in life. As things get worse in America, more and more people are rediscovering what really means something to them. Glenn Beck is helping all of us know that we are not alone. For the half million people that were there, millions of us in America wanted to be there. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     The more soul searching that goes on, the more people are realizing that "God, Family, and America" are really all that matter. Glenn Beck has a huge audience and he is using his opportunity to do the right thing. Restoring our faith in God, and our honor, is imperative if we are to save our country. These also happen to be two of the three "Basic Conservative Principles". I think people are put into situations for a reason and God has a plan for all of us. For Glenn Beck it is to teach and stir passion in what is right, and he is doing a great job. His rally was the perfect message at the perfect time.  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;Copyright 2010. &lt;h1&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: georgia; font-size: 18px;"&gt;     Leftists are as predictable as the rising sun. I have said this many times over, and they prove me right every time. They constantly follow the orders of Saul Alinsky in his book "Rules for Radicals". In it he tells them to; "&lt;span style="font-size: 18px;"&gt;pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions, people hurt faster than institutions". This is what they tried to do to the Tea Party. I think it's funny because the Tea Party is "the people" so they really can't isolate one person.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
     The wonderful thing about the Tea Party is that it is truly grassroots and there is no nationwide organization. This means no national spokesman or leader to tear down or dig dirt on. It is a phenomenon that was not expected by Conservatives, is an ongoing enigma to the left, and a doomsday spectre for RINO's. It is in every state and locale and is exclusive to each part of the country with many different Tea Parties in every state.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     The great thing is that the leftist radicals have no idea how to combat them. There really is no way for them to isolate the Tea Party because millions have and continue to participate. The fact that the Tea Parties are made up of intelligent people and are not just a mob also compounds the left's problems. They can isolate and try to destroy an organizer of a local Tea Party, but that will not deflate the rest of them. Someone else would step up to the plate and organize the next rally if the targeted one were burnt out. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     The individual Tea Partiers are driven by a deep seeded love for the country and a burning instinctive need to give their children a nation better than when they received it. The leftists and their tactics only work on the ignorant. Barack Obama and his wildly left policies have ignited a huge prairie fire of Conservative activism that is taking the country by storm. Leftists have never had to combat this many intelligent people that fight back. When leftists are caught in a corner they lash out. The same way a teenager would when they are frustrated with the truth. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     While the mainstream press, the crooks in Congress and the White House were attacking it, the Tea Party was growing stronger and stronger as Conservatives started to feel their activist oats. The Representatives and Senators that came home to angry town hall meetings last summer were blindsided. They were so used to being the ones that attacked others that they had no clue what to do when "the people" held them accountable. Things are still looking up, and even the democrats are starting to concede that "Judgment Day" November 2, 2010 is going to be a disaster for them. This is happening because of people all over the country finally getting fed up. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     Another huge positive from all of this is the fact that now more than ever,  nearly every Conservative in the country is engaged and paying attention. The Tea Parties are also keeping things very simple as far as policy demands are concerned. Small government equals good government, lower taxes and less spending of the government equals a more prosperous and wealthy population, a strong national defense and respect for our military, and a demand to close the borders and stop the flow of crime, drugs and illegal aliens from entering our country. Pretty simple and very effective because the independent voters are following as well at a rate of nearly 3 to 1. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     The left could only muster up a crude sexual slur "teabaggers" as an attack on them. This has made rational thinking people that were not necessarily Conservatives disgusted. When the left has exhausted all tactics and are hurling third grade epithets at them, you know we have won. Another reason that Conservatism and the Tea Parties are going to triumph always is because they are right and are telling the truth. The left can never win in the end because they always have to lie about their true agenda. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     If Barack Obama had not run as a moderate and had told everyone exactly what he has done so far back in the campaign he would have lost. He didn't do that, he lied. He lied and with a far left Congress in place he was able to do great damage that will be hard to repeal. That is why the Tea Parties are so important. They are going to demand from every Congress from here on out to follow the principles we want them to when handling our money and affairs.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     The longer the Tea Party is active, and the more they spread the truth, the better chance we have of overturning his entire agenda. If we can keep up this level of enthusiasm we will be able to roll back FDR and Woodrow Wilson in time as well. The Tea Parties are key in this capacity because they are also refusing to support RINO's supported by the moderate old guard of the GOP. This will be the best way to restore the core Conservative principles to the party that have been lacking since just after the Reagan years. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     For me this has been the most refreshing aspect of the entire Obama debacle. They have already been pivotal in ousting many long term RINO's, including Arlen Specter, Charlie Crist, and Bob Bennett. The Tea Party endorsement is dead on with my endorsement, but I will still stay engaged like we all have to even when Republicans are back in charge. RINO's still exist and we need to weed them all out as we do any democrat. The Tea Party has been waking people up. If we also can succeed in educating people, we will be able to reduce the leftist grip on this country to a tiny fraction of what it is now in no time at all.  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;Copyright 2010. &lt;h1&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: georgia; font-size: 18px;"&gt;     When I first heard that the Obama regime was "exploring" the idea of forgiving mortgages that had foreclosed through Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and also the mortgages that were upside down, my "think like a leftist" alarm switched on full alert. I can understand forgiving foreclosures, but upside down homes? Of course the first thought to come to mind was that Obama was going to try and buy votes for the November election. That would be one benefit at least in their minds, but I know there is something more sinister behind this line of thinking. Leftists do not do things on a whim. They are always scheming to further their agenda at all times.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     There is one true constant when contemplating the motives of the left. It is very simple, no matter how they try to spin their tyranny. The left is about power and control. They are relentless in their quest to control every aspect of the entire country and its people. Health care reform is code for government control of health care. Franklin Roosevelt started Social Security and said that once it was in place it would always be there, immune from repeal once people were dependent on it. Seventy years later and it still is here enslaving retirees to whatever the government wants to give them. Little by little, step be step, the left will take over our lives. You will need the government to literally survive someday if it is not stopped. Sadly, it is disguised as benevolent and innocuous and never as dependency. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     If the federal government ends up owning all of the foreclosed and upside down houses via Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, they are not going to get rid of them. They will keep them and use them as government housing. Imagine your neighborhood and the house next door forecloses or the owner is upside down. The mortgage was guaranteed through Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac which 90% or more mortgages nationwide are, and instantly you have section 8 housing in your neighborhood, possibly right next door to you. Another fun bonus to the whole idea is that your home value will drop through the floor with section 8 housing next door. Then of course your house will be upside down too. All too convenient for the leftists huh? It won't be framed this way though. It will be framed as helping the not so fortunate and that we should thank them for paying off all of the bad mortgages, to avert another Great Depression. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     Don't get me wrong, I do not think badly of people who need temporary help. But like the old stigma of being on welfare, people should only want to use the help as long as they are desperate, not one day more. Secondly, government housing is notorious for fostering and festering a bad element and should not be forced on neighborhoods only because some owners foreclosed. Government housing should be sectioned off somewhere where it is not going to destroy property values. However, to get all housing to be government owned they will do what they can to destroy the values of all privately owned homes. Real estate as a profession would be dead except for the houses of the elite. You don't think the ruling class are going to live next to section 8'ers do you?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     Government housing is what the government wants for all of us. There was a near riot in Atlanta last week when people were lined up just to get an application for government housing. People fighting over government housing is not what America is all about. I am ashamed to have that going on in this country. Serfdom is the leftist goal for us, and total subservience will be the end result. Anyone that is going to use government housing will have restricted thermostats and every other "green" restriction built in to them. One day in the future every new couple wanting a house will have to go to the nearest Housing and Urban Development office to apply for one, then pay the filing fee, then stand in line for the entire day. If later on they want to upgrade or go larger, they will have to know somebody, or comply with some leftist pre-requisite, in other words beg or bribe.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     Obama and the rest of the left are showing their true faces in this regime and we all need to expose their tyranny to people that do not believe it. Do not let them rock the ignorant to sleep with fake promises only to take freedoms away from all of us. It will be a cold day in hell before I let a government bureaucrat tell me how hot or cold my house should be. The more they try to squeeze us the more we are going to escape their grasp and rebel. When the Republicans take back Congress and the Presidency, we must demand a roll back to Constitutional government of the Founders. To leftists, I am outdated and out of touch. To those who know better, I am telling what needs to be told. Patriots started this country, and modern day Patriots are going to save this country. To be a true Conservative Patriot, you understand that there are four dates in history that mean everything; the day God created the heavens and the earth, the day Jesus Christ was born, the day Jesus rose from the dead, and July 4, 1776. These four dates have had more positive impact on the world than any others in history. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     Independence Day to most people today is another summer day, but with a parade and fireworks. We as a people have enjoyed this country our entire lives. Generations of Americans have been free to pursue their dreams without having to worry where their freedom had gone or if they were going to be able to give their children a good life. America has had its bumps in the road to fulfilling the vision of the Founding Fathers but we are closer than any nation ever has been, and with our knowledge and hard work we will remain the most free country ever created. The hard barriers have been overcome. The Civil War stopped the biggest threat to our country and the Civil Rights Act cleaned up the rest. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     The new threat to our security as a nation comes from within. It is the lack of education. Public education has been unconstitutionally controlled from Washington for a long time. Government of the left has taken over the public education system with entrenched bureaucracy, and has transformed it into a nationwide indoctrination camp organization to churn out more leftists. The Founding Fathers are not taught as heroes but rather as oppressors and greedy Capitalists in the country that they created. This is an abomination that must end. It is essential to know where you came from before you know where you are going. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     The Founding Fathers were heroes, plain and simple. They sent King George III of Great Britain a letter declaring the colonies in America as independent states. This letter was the Declaration of Independence. If you are a student of history, you will know that in their day, defiance of the King was most certainly going to get you a date with the gallows. To defy the British government and monarchy in this way had never been done. The British at the time were the worlds superpower. The British Navy was the best and largest ever afloat. The British Army was the best equipped and largest on earth. No nation on earth had conquered as much land and in the process become so rich as Great Britain and its worldwide empire. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     The Founding Fathers knowing these facts wrote this as the final line of the Declaration of Independence;   &lt;span style="font-family: timesnewromanpsmt;"&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: left;"&gt;     "And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor"&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     They knew that they were going to die. They were praying that God would deliver them to victory. There was no way on earth that the ragtag colonists were going to defeat the military of Great Britain. But, they were still willing to risk everything, and I do mean everything, to try and achieve this gift we spoiled children enjoy hundreds of years later. We all know the outcome of the Revolutionary War, but if the British had won the war, every Founding Father would have been rounded up and hung, their property would have been seized and their families would have been black-balled. These men were the first to risk it all for the dream we call America. If that is not heroism, nothing is. George Washington among many others risked his life on the actual battlefield. Their story has always inspired me and I will always be thankful for their sacrifice that gave me the opportunity to be free.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     "Our lives, our treasure, and our sacred honor" What a sacrifice to make for a country and a concept. Can you say that you would be willing to risk all of that for the same reasons they did? There are precious few people that have actually put these on the table for others. If you think about it, the only true heroes are the ones that do. We have heroes like that today in our military and in men and women that save others while risking their own lives. However, it was the Founding Fathers that made it possible for all of us. God Bless their souls!  &lt;/p&gt;

    &lt;span style="font-family: georgia; font-size: 18px;"&gt; I was&lt;span style="font-size: 18px;"&gt; listening to a local political radio show today and I couldn't help but become completely annoyed. The hosts were discussing with callers the campaign performances so far and strategies for the rest of the election cycle for Harry Reid and Sharron Angle. The discussion centered mostly on Sharron Angle's campaign missteps. I didn't mind the subject except for the fact that they left out the most important element, and that is the personal responsibility of every voter to inform themselves. A campaign is only a few months long, but a term in office for Senators is 6 years. Nevadans know what Harry Reid has done to them. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     Harry Reid and Sharron Angle have been in politics for a few years and both have voting records. There is no excuse to not know how each one is going to conduct themselves in office and vote on the issues. Therefore, using that logic there should be no voters in Nevada waffling on who to vote for in this race. Undecided voters are simply people unwilling or incapable of doing their own analysis. If you don't know how to do the research, ask, there are plenty of people everywhere that do. The computer is your friend and has all of this information at your fingertips. If you do not have a computer, a library card is free and the library is stocked with internet research ready computers and books. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     If it isn't completely obvious, I want Harry Reid to lose and Sharron Angle to win. That is because I am Conservative and Harry Reid is a leftist. We are on opposite ends of where we think the country should go. How anyone could want another failing term of Harry Reid I have no idea, but many people treat political campaigns like Hollywood reality shows. Meaning, whom ever performed the best gets the prize at the end of the show. I don't care how much money is spent or how well Harry Reid runs his campaign, there is no way I will vote for him, because of the issues. A campaign is a first date, a job interview, and an audition all rolled into one. It is not necessarily the true candidate, the best facade will be on display. Don't be fooled by slick productions and conveniently left out facts. Harry Reid has had years of experience pulling the wool over the eyes of the people of Nevada. The only  way to make sure of who and what you are voting for is to find out yourself.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     The apathy of the American people in general makes me want to vomit. Ignorance I can deal with, apathy I cannot. The stakes are too high and the corruption has gone on too long to allow us the luxury of not paying attention. Apathy has created the soap opera/reality show style of politics that we have now. Harry Reid alone has spent 11 million dollars on TV and radio ads so far. That is insane. In a presidential election hundreds of millions are spent. It has to stop. Television and radio ads should be banned. The candidates should only have broadcasted debates, face to face campaigning, and a sheet of paper to hand out that describes them and their views on the issues. That would force people to pay attention and do their own research. It isn't as easy as picking an "R" or a "D" anymore. Those two letters mean nothing in this day and age.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     The next person that tells me "they are all the same" and are not going to vote, is going to catch my pent up wrath. They are all the same because we allow them to be. Barack Obama has a horrendous past with anti-American pastors and domestic terrorists whom all hate America to the core, but he was good looking and he would be the first black president. Everyone was so worried about the color of his skin to realize that he was going to be disastrous for the country. Stop generalizing when you haven't a clue what you are talking about and educate yourself. We have a duty to this country and to all that came before and after us. Freedom isn't free, every generation has to fight to for it. This is now more important than your children's soccer games or your weekday lineup of situation comedies. If we do not change the direction of this country there won't be time or resources for soccer games or anything else that we enjoy in life. If you think I'm crazy, read history, it has a nasty way of repeating itself.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     Read the founding documents of our country. Study the writings of the Founders so you understand why they wrote what they did in the Federalist Papers, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Before that the Articles of Confederation. Find out why we have a bicameral legislative body, a President and a Supreme Court. Find out how government is supposed to work from the Founders vision, and how it has been corrupted and operated now. Realize that the purpose of government is to serve us, to promote maximum liberty, and to put down tyranny, not to steal from us and force unwanted entitlements on us. Not knowing what you are voting for, or not voting at all, is like leaving the keys in your unlocked car in the middle of the Democrat created and nurtured ghetto. But now it's not just a car at stake, it is everything that we have ever known, and what our descendants will ever know that is at stake. This is not the time to be ignorant or apathetic. &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;h1 style="margin-right: 0px;" dir="ltr" align="left"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: georgia; font-size: 18px;"&gt;     I'll never forget watching a TV political ad in the early 90s and talking to my 80 something year old grandmother about the gubernatorial candidate in it. I asked her what she thought of him and she told me that she didn't like him because he had "shifty eyes". I said "ok" and that was it. I couldn't forget about what she said, even today, and that was 20 years ago. My grandmother has long since passed, God bless her soul, but she taught me something that day. She taught me that people will exercise the right to vote, one of the most sacred rights known to man, without a thought as to what the job entails or what kind of person would be best suited. She could care less that he might have been the right person for the job or that the other candidate could be a good looking straight-eyed crook. It is silliness like that, that creates these monsters we call politicians. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     Politicians will say whatever they feel necessary to get elected. Whatever way the political winds are blowing is where you will find a politicians sails in a heated race. I don't care what a politician looks like, what race they are from, or what football team they follow. These things mean nothing on the floor of the Senate or the House of Representatives where they and their peers are voting away our freedoms and confiscating more of our hard earned property. America has become addicted to fame and the famous and like any addiction it is going to end up with a recovery or death. I prefer the recovery. Politicians like entertainers lose sight of what they are supposed to be doing and let the fame and adulation go to their heads. The second a politician believes that he is more important or more intelligent, therefore better suited to run your life, tyranny exists. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     How is it that Senator Robert Byrd could spend over 50 years in the Senate. The man had to die of old age to be removed from government. That is a problem. The reason it is a problem is because these types of people create an atmosphere of power over time. It is modest at first. Advancing to chairmanships of committees etc, then the next step is to consolidate power for their party, in order to keep the control they have worked hard to achieve. It is a vicious cycle that is showing its ugliness in the present Congress. Entrenchment in Washington is rotting the core of our republic and "we the people" are the only ones that can restore it in the Founders vision. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     Corruption is alot harder when you only have a couple of years to consolidate your power and lobby base then go home on a term limit. I wholeheartedly believe in term limiting. I never used to think that but I have come to the conclusion that term limits will only limit Washington not us. With term limits you can still vote in the same ideology but there will be a fresh face there and not the same power brokers. Term limiting will also make it alot harder to be lazy if you care about who runs Washington and how. Narcissism and contempt for the working class are the norm, not the exception in Washington. If this doesn't change, the 535 people that run Washington are going to cause a civil war among the other 310 million. Think about history and similar situations in history and you will know that I am not being radical saying this. I do not want things to get that bad in America, I don't want bloodshed to solve what attention to detail and perseverance now, will accomplish.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     I think we have had enough of the Barbara Boxers, Harry Reids, Charlie Rangels, Maxine Waters, and Claire McCaskills of D.C. They are either going to respect the people that gave them the power and the money to run government or they are going to be run out of Washington on a rail. It couldn't happen soon enough. We created these people by not kicking them out years ago. Apathy, ignorance and blind faith in the wrong people are to blame for this current situation but give us two good elections and we can turn things around. Judgment Day is only 82 days away, Let's Roll!&lt;br /&gt;

     Many people ask me to explain the differences between Democrats, Republicans, leftists, Marxists, Conservatives and Libertarians just to name a few. I love it when people ask these questions because it means they are willing to learn rather than simply exist in an ignorant bubble like alot of people in America. I don't use the word "ignorant" as a slur, it is sadly the truth among a large bloc of our population. I don't believe I am smarter than everyone else or that I have finished learning. I simply want to pass on what I have learned, because an educated and involved electorate will make better choices which in turn will make a better country for all of us. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     I am a naturally skeptical person, so if someone is educating me, I listen first, then I verify the information on my own using multiple sources that I trust. I also research the feasibility of the information to make sure that even if it sounds good in theory it also works in practice. That is what I expect of all of you. In order to know if an idea works, you must know how the system works. This is imperative to know in government. If you don't know the differences between the Secretary of State and the Senate, it is going to be hard for you to understand the differences in parties and ideologies. I am assuming you all have a respectable, civics 101 knowledge, of the workings of the U.S. government. If you don't, write an e-mail with your questions and I will answer them.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     Ideologies are simply ways of thinking. There are two dominate ideologies that exist today in politics, Conservative and Progressive/Liberal. Conservatives believe that human beings are happier and more productive when they are more free and have a government that adheres to the powers given it by the people. Progressives/Liberals believe in an all giving, all taking, powerful government. These definitions are only the basic differences. I could write and entire encyclopedia on the individual issue differences and the many branches of each side, but for the sake of brevity, and not to confuse those that do not know, I am sticking with the basics. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     The modern Democrat party was started somewhere around 1828 by Andrew Jackson and his following. On his shoulders, as a hero of the War of 1812, it grew quickly in power. By 1840 the Democrat party platform, sadly, was the defense of slavery. The Republican party was formed in 1854 by Conservative, slavery abolitionists in opposition to the Democrats. The first Republican president was Abraham Lincoln and as everyone knows it was he that ended slavery. The Democrat party spent 50 years as the minority until the Progressive era of the early 1900's. From Theodore Roosevelt on, there has been a slow progression to centralize power in Washington and remove state's and personal rights. This is the reason why I am here and fighting.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     Progressives/Liberals, Marxists, Socialists and Communists are all on the side of powerful central government control over all aspects of society and personal life. The former Soviet Union and present day Cuba are prime examples of this. I like to use the term leftists because they are all the same to me. Leftists do not believe in the sanctity of private property and liberty. They are willing to give up both, for power and the mythical goal of societal perfection and social justice. "Social Justice" is a common phrase they use and is code for wealth redistribution. These people are the Democrat party. If you vote for a Democrat in any election you are getting one of these people that will try everything in their power to advance these principles. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     Conservatives, and Libertarians are in opposition to the leftists in nearly every category, and are constantly fighting to defend the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. The differences between Conservatives and Libertarians are mainly social issues but are insignificant enough to be in agreement to oppose the Democrats.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     The Republican party used to always be the party of Lincoln and the strict Founding Fathers constructionist/traditionalist party. However, Progressives/Liberals disguised as traditional Republicans have infiltrated the party and have caused havoc throughout its existence. This has happened many times before but today the infestation is epidemic. There is good news as of late though, the Tea Party movement is taking it upon itself to purge the Republican party of the parasites that are Republicans In Name Only.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     The two parties are simply old supply routes used to get to Washington. They are networks and brand names that have been in place for a couple of centuries now. They still both stand for what they always have but you must be involved in order to make sure the brands contrast, and have the candidates represent the brand they are using. If you let others decide for you, you will usually end up not liking the result. It is up to us to make the Republican brand really mean "Conservative". We must help the Tea Party restore the party of Lincoln and Reagan. Conservatism, when used in government always works. Leftists ideals have never worked ever.&lt;br /&gt;

This sense of urgency is what every clear thinking American should be feeling right now. We should all be in the "24" or "Die Hard" mode in the race to save &lt;span style="font-size: 18px;"&gt;America&lt;/span&gt;. The time for apathy and ignorance is over. Educating the ignorant should be routine at this point. We must keep ourselves well informed so that we know what and how to fight, to restore America to the Founders' vision. The Marxists are clever in their deceptive drive to destroy America. They will use every gimmick and every divide and conquer method known to mankind to win or at the least limit the damage to their cause. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     Our mission is clear. America must be saved by reuniting the federal government and the Constitution. We must reject politicians that are not going to be lions in the fight against the Marxist onslaught. We cannot afford to have Republican lawmakers reaching across the aisle only to end up advancing the leftist destruction of America for the sake of compromise. The "club" in Washington must be broken up by us because it is funded by us. There just is no other way if we want to change a century of corruption and collusion against us. The congressional machine is going to die by our ballot.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     People ask me from time to time what party I support. I have only ever voted Republican, and when I tell them that I get the rolling eyes and the "open mind" lecture. First and foremost I am a Conservative in the same footprints as the the Founding Fathers. The fact is that the democrat party has never been Conservative as long as I have been alive. The Republican party has been Conservative during that time, most notably during the Reagan years. The Republican party has disappointed me much more than the democrat party. At least with the democrats you get the same leftist push. Nothing ever changes with them. The Republican party is not an ideology, it is simply a vehicle to get to office. The people that call themselves Republican are tasked with making the Republican party a Conservative party. If left alone, leftists will and have infiltrated and disrupted the Conservative cause in the Republican party. The current cleansing of the party is a testament to that. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
     The beauty of Obama and the Marxist Congress is that people are starting to learn first hand what they were never taught in school. The leftist onslaught of the Obama presidency has frightened people into action. The Tea Party movement was born out of this fright and the results are a much more informed electorate. When the people take it upon themselves to figure out what is wrong and how to fix it, the work gets done and the word gets out much more rapidly. This whole grassroots movement is not just about getting rid of democrats, it is also more importantly about taking back the Republican party and expelling the RINO's. There is no longer room in the "Conservative" Republican party for politicians and candidates that are not Conservative.&lt;br /&gt;

     This November 2nd, which I call "Judgment Day" our voices are going to be heard loudly and clearly. We cannot become too confident and we must reject the leftists efforts to demoralize us before election day.
