Many of us are concerned that the current government and people that agree with it have a different view and ultimately want an all powerful government. Every example from history have oppressed religion in any form. I am glad you agree with my observations. I hope in a few years we are alot happier and not as worried about our immediate and long term future.

God bless you and yours.

Comment on Patriotism Is A Reality Of The Heart

Very well stated Michael...you echoed my sentiments succinctly and irrefutabley...I would only add how awesome a privilege we have to worship and pray to whomever&/or whatever without the real threat of reprisal...thanks to the grace of Almighty God...Lord let us return to you before before we stumble deeper into sin.

Comment on American Exceptionalism

Yes, God has blessed us with America, it's up to us to pass it on better than we found it.

Comment on American Exceptionalism

and God bless america.

Comment on The Tea Party Uprising Is Not In Peril

Cindy thanks for the comment.

I agree, I do not like the anger anymore than anyone else. But this is good anger in that no one will die as a result. This is the type of anger that the Founding Fathers had when they decided to declare Independence. It would be nice if we could sit down and solve problems then have a beer afterward. Unfortunately there are ignorant people and ideological leftist politicians who have alterior motives and will lie to you to accomplish their goals. Many of our left of center politicians are driving the country away from the Constitution and that is why people are so angry. The anger that has manifested since President Obama and the current Congress were elected is out of fear that these self serving politicians are trying to change our country in ways that will remove many of the freedoms we have enjoyed since the founding. If every political decision created more freedom from government and let us keep more of what we produce none of the anger toward government we have now would exist. However this current president and congressional leadership are hell bent on taking more of what we all produce and doling it out as they see fit. We are all dependent on government programs to some degree but not because we absolutely have to be but because the government passed a law and mandated it. For example all of us are mandated to pay into Social Security regardless of whether we think we could do better investing our money on our own, you simply have no choice. The left does not believe in choice unless you want to have an abortion. Of course government has not put the money you pay in taxes for Social Security into a lock-box for our retirement, rather they have long since spent it and then borrowed more on our backs and for what? When they take more and more money from the people that do not want the government redistributing their hard earned wealth, anger is created. The founding fathers warned against this and If you read Article I Section 8 of the Constitution, it states exactly what the federal government, particularly the congress, is allowed to govern. The leftists (progressives) have been whitling away at these Constitutional restraints for years. The manifestations of which are beginning to bankrupt our citizens and our treasury. People are angry because they see the end result of this and that the current government is driven by their ideology and not by pragmatism. History and common sense are contrary to everything this government is doing. The anger we have now is getting people to get involved and that is a good thing. When people get involved in our government process bad politicians get voted out and good ones voted in. If our freedoms are continually incrementally taken sooner or later we will wake up and our right to vote will be gone as well. That is what we are trying to avoid, because if that happens there will be civil war.

Comment on The Tea Party Uprising Is Not In Peril

Michael, I just read your blog. I do agree with some of your content although I'm a little concerned with all the anger in this country and anger does not always get you where you really want to be. Thats how other countries hve been doing it for years and look where its got them, in wars all their lives, unforuantly we have been dragged into some of these wars. Our congress is basically made of people who have ther own agendas and are not listening to their constituents. We even see this on the lower levels in our small state and yes we do need to clean house on alot of levels and make a cap for how long these people can serve. Iguess this is a good way for people to vent thier feelings, but people need to get involved also. Thanks, Cindy

Comment on The Miracle In Massachusetts Is Being Ignored

I couldn't agree more. McCain would have only delayed the inevitable and we would have lost more of congress in the midterms. The underbelly of the beast is exposed and we will keep paying attention. I am confident in Conservatives to spread the word this time and educate the ignorant masses.

Comment on The Miracle In Massachusetts Is Being Ignored

This is exactly what I've been saying! Thank you!
Someone asked "what if McCain had won?" Well, it McCain had won, the Marxist agenda would still be simmering, growing stronger; now, we have seen the underbelly of the beast, and we can strike-but only if we keep paying attention!

Comment on Conservatism Sells

will do

Comment on Conservatism Sells

hey great letter Mike. give me a call sometime lost your #.
