What Is America Worth To You?

I want you to think deeply about this question. The people that read my articles by subscription know where America stands in their hearts. I don't have to think twice when I think about what this country means to me. It's automatic, close behind God and Family. Those are the only two that are more important to me. If saving America meant I had to denounce my Christian God or do harm to my family, I would let America go because it would already be doomed with or without my support.

That is how much I love this country. However, much to my profound sadness, not every American feels the way I do. It makes me sick to my stomach that people so spoiled by the leisure lifestyle provided them by the blood, treasure, and honor of others, is so easily spat upon. There are people that I work with that could care less what happens to America as long as they get what they feel they deserve.

No job or government program is worth letting America die. I would gladly give up my job and look for a new one if it meant saving America. The era of government filling the role of God and family, must, and will end, lest we be tossed onto the ash heap of history. The selfish nature of humans is nothing new, but the degree of narcissism we see displayed in plain view now, bereft of any stigma whatsoever, is astonishing to me. It makes me long for the days of the 1980's let alone the 1950's.

So many workers are willing to kill the golden goose rather than take a smaller egg. Look at the UAW and the auto industry. Most of those workers are not college educated and too old to retrain to another industry. If they are willing to throw logic into the toilet when it comes to matters of daily living, what do you think they would do if it came down to them or America? Again, that answer scares me.

There is a way to combat this however and it is all about education. Most Americans have no clue what the Constitutional boundaries of the federal government are, nor do they know anything about what the founders envisioned. You cannot appreciate where you are going if you do not know where you come from.

The "dumbing down" of America has been a slow but deliberate process that was crafted by nefarious people for pernicious outcomes. The architects of the "Progressive" era were nasty, terrible, people who thought of us like Mengele thought of Jews in Germany. Even though Americans have had to eradicate many enemies from within during the course of our short history, we have always prevailed because of brave Patriots who understood why America is exceptional.

We cannot blame the young skateboarder that hasn't a clue what the Constitution is. We must blame ourselves for letting public education be hijacked by leftists, but we don't have the luxury of time or effort for blame. It is imperative to think of the ways to solve this problem, immediately. There was a point in every one of our lives where we went from child to Patriot. That point is where we must get every American that isn't there already.

We must articulate to the ignorant, the importance of the preservation of America, and the impact a failure would be to their lives and the lives of the ones they love. When things become personal they become a whole lot more important. America is not like any other country in history, we know why and we must pass this knowledge on. America is grace under pressure and it is up to us to relieve that pressure. Past generations have overcome worse threats to the existence and health of our republic. I have no doubt we are up to the challenge, and we are every bit as Patriotic as anyone in history. If you do not know the answer to the question at the top of this page, read every post in this blog, then write me and tell me what you learned. God bless America!
