Step #1: Accomplished, Step #2 : Starts Now
Sure I'm happy! I was jumping for joy watching Americans do what had to be done to stop the leftist onslaught. I couldn't be happier that we Patriots chose America and not the path to disaster. However, damage is still being done and will continue to be done until Obama is gone and the Senate is back in Conservative hands. Only then will "We The People" have the political power to roll back the damage the leftists have done. I honestly did celebrate and had a great time Tuesday night, but when I woke up Wednesday I knew it was time to start working on step two.
The election of 2010 will go down in history as one of the most resounding rejections of a President and his policies since the founding of the country. A whopping 32 House Representatives who voted for Obamacare were shown the door. It was surreal seeing democrat after democrat losing. After what had to happen, and in the proportions it had to happen in, anyone who would vote for a leftist again needs their head examined. Yes, I realize that some people are always going to use emotion rather than logic when selecting candidates, but I keep praying for that 100% common sense rate to appear. I'm a dreamer I know.
What happened Tuesday was exactly what was expected and more. The races we hoped to win but didn't were extreme long shots in the first place. But, even those races were closer than they have ever been and scared the leftists to the core. What is expected now is the march to November 6, 2012. That day will be "Judgment Day" for Obama and another third of the Senate. If we keep our momentum moving full steam ahead, we will take the Senate back with another 6 or 7 seat gain and rid ourselves of the worst president we have ever had.
In the meantime we must continue on and double our efforts to educate the ignorant and motivate the apathetic. Like Sean Hannity has said, this is merely a plug in the bottom of the boat. We can put a halt to the runaway spending but the effects of what has been done will keep us in grave danger for years to come. Please do not think that the 2010 election is the zenith, it is not. Now, together with you my fellow Patriots we fight on. Remember the first Patriots of the Revolutionary War, they were in the field, fighting for 8 years. We can suffer another 2 years for God, Family, and America.

You are correct when you say that this is just a plug in the boat. The Republicans will control the House of Representatives but not the Senate and not the Presidency. With that they can stop further Leftist initiatives but they cannot get rid of the Leftist initiatives already passed. The victory is good but this is only the start of the battle. If Obamacare is left in place it will contribute to the bankruptcy of this nation. It is great to want to help people but this is a program that is not affordable. Conservatives need to work to take the Senate and Presidency next election. We need to rid our country of the reckless legislation that a Leftist government has imposed on us. Reply to this
