It took me a while in life to realize why God and Christ were important. No one is perfect and I was and still am far from perfect. The age of 35 was roughly the point where I started to have a need to put all of the pieces together and understand where I came from and where I was going. It wasn't an epiphany and I didn't get a visit from an angel. I simply needed to go back to my childhood when God was important. I didn't know why he was important then, but now I do. This country was started by people that were seeking religious freedom and while we do not have to be puritans like the early settlers, the need for Christians to offer the alternative to the destructive pop culture we now have is imperative. Where there is a moral void evil will quickly fill it. 
    
     Christianity for me is the foundation for everything that I am. I do not go around preaching to people and trying to convert them. For me it is a personal transformation that everyone needs decide for themselves. I will however tell everyone my own personal journey and how it has benefited me. Everyone knows how a house is built. First you clear the land, then prepare the ground, lay the foundation and so forth. It is a step by step process that depending on the quality of work turns out to be a beautiful home. That is how I view life. My foundation is Christianity. I say Christianity because God means different things in different religions and the God of Jesus Christ is my God. 
    
     "So, why Christianity and not some other religion". I was raised as a Christian first of all, but of all religions, Christianity is about love and caring. Jesus Christ was benevolent and cured the sick but also preached personal accountability. He preached; to love and not hate and only fight when you have no other option. Unlike Islam that preaches infidels will convert or be killed, Christianity preaches spread the word and let the individual decide. Christianity also explains things that man cannot. There is no way that any man can explain existence, why we are here, how did matter come into existence in the first place? I want the "Global Warming" morons to also explain infinity or time etc. They cannot, but they are quick to bash religion. Christianity explains all of that and I have faith that God is bigger than this life and has plans for me if I live as righteous a life as possible.

     The reason I call Christianity the foundation for me is that it lays down the moral blocks that work throughout life and with every situation. What do I mean by that? The Ten Commandments for example say do not covet your neighbors wife. Meaning do not cheat on your wife or bad things will happen for you. Do not lie, do not steal, do not murder, all examples of moral direction that make your life much easier and more fulfilling. The naysayers will say say that these are natural human instincts. That is false. The human impulse is to kill your enemies and be selfish. Survival of the fittest. How many times throughout the day do people restrain themselves because they would go to jail if they acted out on every impulse they had. If morality played no part in life why do people not have sex with anyone they want and not care if their spouse does the same? The human impulse is to do the wrong thing and have sex with whomever looks good, however people do care and spouses do care. Morality is what stops people from doing the wrong thing. David Letterman is not a Christian and does what he wants sexually. He does not believe in morality and it will cause him major problems with his spouse. If you talk to people that have acted on impulse, they most often say that the pleasure was never worth the pain afterward. Imagine anarchy and what would happen then. Remember the L.A. riots in '92, that is what happens in a moral void.

     Everything I do or say comes from the foundation of Christianity. My honor comes from Christianity. What I want for my country is love and caring as per Christianity. I don't want to convert everyone, however I want all that call America home to acknowledge that Christianity is the foundation that built this country. Christianity is very tolerant of others and other beliefs. The problem when you invite others into your house is the risk that they will try to destroy what you have built. This we have to stop. It doesn't mean conversion but it does mean retaking power. Christians are by nature Conservative which means they are quiet and want to live in peace. For decades this has been acceptable but now our existence as a people and a nation are in jeopardy. Apathy now is tacit complicity. We must act with a loud and forceful opposition to the direction of our society and country or we will disappear into history. Trust me when I say that we do not want this. Read about the downfall of the Roman Empire or any other influential world power, it is not pretty. You would not have wanted to be there when Rome was sacked.

     The difference between Christianity and the leftists is that Christianity brings collective good without forcing it on anyone. The leftists bring collective bad and force it on everyone. The United States of America has been here for 233 years and has been a world power for most of that. Why? Because we have done things the right way with a moral foundation, the freedoms granted by God and a logical approach to conquering our problems. The result has been God blessing us with the best lifestyle any human has ever had. I do not wish harm to come to leftists. In fact I feel sorry for them. I believe they do what they do because they do not have the moral foundation or the personal connection with God that I do. When you are adrift in life without an anchor or foundation it must be miserable and as I said before, evil will fill the void. The peace that God and Christ give me is inexplicable. It is just there and it makes the rest of life that much easier.

     I have this urge to have things fit neatly and as perfectly as possible. Organization is so appealing to me. Being that logic is a huge part of my thinking process I want things to be black and white always. Of course this is not the case and you have to be creative alot of the time. Be that as it may, I never ever have to compromise my Christian and Conservative principles. Sometimes solving a problem the right way according to principle is the most painful of the choices. However, in the long run you know in your heart that it was the right way. Disciplining children is an example of this. Christianity and Conservatism are the "standard operating procedure" for my life. I have never been happier or felt better about the future than I have since rediscovering my Christian roots.

     It always annoys me when people talk bad about Christianity. These people will cite priests molesting boys or tele-evangelists skimming money etc. Men are the ones that do these evils not God and certainly not the word of God. They are not doing what Christianity says to do. The message of God and Christ does not change because of evil men. The personal relationship with God is just that. Because like minded people fellowship together does not mean they are blind followers of an organized religion. There is no organized religious take over plan for the world other than Islam. Christians want everyone to be Christian but not forced to be Christian. Leftists hate Christianity because it judges them and they never want to be judged. They know they are doing wrong and do not want to be held accountable. If there are no moral boundaries they can justify their behavior. This is why they try so hard to get their behavior protected by law. As long as Christianity is around they know they are not going to succeed in controlling the masses.

     The current situation we find ourselves in has brought about the resurgence of Christianity. For the first time, for most of us we are feeling fear. Fear is the most powerful motivator there is. The fear of losing everything because gays want to get married or because academia is Marxist and radical is coming to a head and the backlash politically should be enough to buy time to change the system that allows the incremental rollback of our freedoms. Otherwise a very bloody civil war will ensue in time and no one wants that but the anarchists. If you are a leftist your survival also depends on the existence of Christianity that has kept us safe from the convert or die religion of Islam. Try being a leftist in a Muslim country and see if you survive with your head. Christianity along with the moral foundation that it brings is the only hope for America. It has been the moral foundation for our rise and it will also be there for our continued success.
