Was it just me or was Obama at his peak of arrogance last night? There was no trying to smooth over the differences or win over support for his and the democrats plan at all. He gave lip service to tort reform but moved right along with his thrust for government health care. I was absolutely embarrassed last night to listen to a President stand in front of Congress and the nation and lie through his teeth. If I would have been there I would have been kicked out because I wouldn't have called him a liar once I would have called him a liar every time he lied. If I were Joe Wilson (SC), the member of the House of Representatives that yelled "you lie" in the middle of the speech, I would apologize only for breaking protocol. Joe Wilson was telling the truth. The entire speech was unprofessional and unbecoming of a President, it made me sick to my stomach. The dignity that I thought he would bring to the office has been just the opposite. I don't think Obama knows how to give a substantive speech because last night sounded like a rah-rah speech for his pals on the left. Absolutely nothing was accomplished last night, not a thing. 

     I hope that all of you saw what I did. This man cannot be allowed to have a second term. I wish we could recall him. We all need to write auto-biographies because we have truly seen it all, and following generations need to know what not to elect to the same office that was once occupied by George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Ronald Reagan. Clearly, pop culture has taken over and Obama's cult of personality is strong with the ignorant, but Obama's exposure and the trashing of our economy for political ends is starting to affect everyone. There is no way not to escape this debacle in our daily lives, so everyone is being forced to educate themselves. This is a good thing for Conservatives, especially now in the information age. Conservatives do not need to lie because they use logic and facts, and the information that is readily available backs that up. The internet and the use of cell phone alerts etc. can give instant news and endless sources of research material and knowledge. Obama's poll numbers have been tanking along with support for health care reform from the democrats because of this. We can read the bill, and we don't like it! We also do not like our intelligence and motivations insulted on a daily basis.

     We can read the bill and compare it to what comes out of Obama's mouth and know for a fact that he is lying. Paying for a health care plan of at least 50 million new people with savings from fraud and waste at Medicare? Why haven't we come up with that brilliant idea before? And the promise that it is deficit neutral and no extra taxes are coming is ridiculous. It's insulting to anyone that pays even a little bit of attention to government and the news. I also find it insulting that the Congressional Budget Office, the non-partisan federal scoring agent, the same one that whenever it is good news for them the democrats shove in our face, has scored the current House bill and refuted nearly every point Obama made last night and Obama still stood there and lied about it all. But don't take my word or the Congressional Budget Office's word because you can read the bill yourself and see that it is going to be a government disaster in the same way that all government programs are. All of this is a scam with populist rhetoric to make it sound like a diamond when it is a lump of coal. The best that we can hope for now is that the bill cannot be passed due to lack of votes. The worst that can happen is that it passes with a government "foot in the door" so to speak, that allows them to expand on it later on. 

     It's amazing just how brazen this guy is. He really is throwing all the eggs into one basket with health care. I know why he is doing it, I just didn't think he was that dedicated and I don't mean dedicated to doing what's right. Bill Clinton had too much self love to sacrifice his legacy on politics. Clinton wanted to do the same things Obama does but wasn't willing to take a sword to do it. Obama is scary because he doesn't care about political consequences. He must instinctively know that he is going to be a one term President and doesn't care what it takes to get health care taken over by the government. He wants a long lasting monument to himself. He wants to go down in history as the one that finally pushed America over the cliff into ruin. The leftists love this stuff, because after health care they would not stop until they controlled the entire economy.

     Obama and the democrats are going to be stopped one way or another because Americans are not European or third world. We have grown too accustomed to our freedom for too long to let some flash in the pan politician with a centuries old, repeatedly failed political ideology destroy what our ancestors and we have built. This is a center right country not a far left country. You never want your party to be the dirty word but Obama has made people fearful of government and when elections come around that usually means bad news. Obama doesn't use kid-gloves to deal with his opposition which would be prudent, he simply gets more arrogant and more demanding. There is also a lesson that he is going to learn the hard way and that is that using the bully pulpit to bully the people that put you there is political suicide. Obama is kicking the sleeping giant and this giant will make him pay.
