We have been successful somewhat. If it hadn't been for the massive amounts of calls, e-mails, faxes, letters and blog entries this last week, the Obama socialized medicine takeover would have been law right now. Democrats who have plenty of votes could have passed it easily without any Republican support. But they haven't. They haven't because they are afraid of losing their cushy Senate and House seats. However the fight is far from over my Patriotic friends.

     The so-called "Blue Dog" Democrats, which by the way means, Democrat members of the House of Representatives in heavily Conservative districts, are really afraid, so they want to seem like they are listening to their constituents by putting up a protest to the ridiculous liberal House health care bill. This is all a stage act. They are going to pass some form of this bill that is going to get the leftists foot in the door, then incrementally take over the health care system over time. This is not acceptable whatsoever. The issue is not how much it is going to cost because we all know that whatever they say it will cost, it is only a fraction of the true cost. This is the same with any government entitlement program. This is a fight for control of our lives and our health care. We must say no to any government control of the free market, especially health care. Congress and Obama will ruin the best health care system in the world if they take it over. 

     We have the best health care in the world, that is not in question. There are some tweaks that need to be made to make it even better. Those tweaks need to be made in a competitive "free market" atmosphere. There are solutions to make it more affordable and the government is not one of them. I have outlined a few of these in a previous article named "Conservative Health Care Solutions". All of the solutions I have mentioned have been introduced in Congress and shot down by Democrats. Leftist Democrats are the blame for health care being as expensive as it is, then they act like they are saving it, all the while trying a shell game on us. The same old tired leftist ploy. But Patriots like you and I are paying attention and we call them on their lies. We are educating people. We are a swarm of flies in their ointment! They hate the educated Conservatives, for good reason. I take pride in being part of that movement.

     That all being said, we have an excellent opportunity here. The members of Congress are coming home next week. All of us need to find them and where they are having their "Town Hall Meetings" and descend upon them. We have to let them know that we will not compromise, not even a little. We want no health care bill at all, at least not until Conservatives have taken Congress back. We need to let them know in the largest numbers possible that their careers are on the line with this. They need to know that we will mount the largest grassroots campaign known to the modern world to oust them from Congress is they pass this or any watered down form of this terrible bill. These people need to hear it and see it from their constituents in the most profound way. This is the Battle of Lexington and Concord all over again for our liberties. Obama wants to mount this on his wall and go down in leftist history. We have to deny all of them their will to lie, cheat, and steal from us, no matter the arm twisting they are getting from the Axis of Morons Reid, Pelosi, and the White House. We are not going to give up our liberties so that Obama and Ted "Chappaquiddick" Kennedy can sit around next year and gloat about the power they seized from us. Our health is not going to be a trophy for either of them.

     The very fact that they are not having a vote on this bill before the recess is proof that they Democrats are thinking twice, and all because of us. Don't make the mistake that these people have heard our voices and are not going to do this. They want to do this in the worst way, but have been tripped up. Now we have to send them back to Washington with their noses bloodied. Call the Capitol Switchboard and ask for your Representative and Senators and leave them messages with their staff this week. Then keep track of where they are going to be in the coming weeks (their local offices will have their itineraries). Go to them and let your voices be heard. Tell them what I said, tell them that they are not going to get away with voting our liberties away.  We need to beat up the bullies during recess. The Capitol Switchboard phone # is (202)224-3121.
