I don't know about you but this last week has gotten me energized like I haven't been in a long time. The bad part is that it was out of fear that we are losing our country. But, there is a bright side to all of this. Obama has mobilized every Conservative from coast to coast. Most Conservatives are quiet and dignified normally, but quiet is no longer even close to an option in light of the perils our beloved country is now facing. The people that have been paying attention all along and can articulate our principles, the "Founding Principles", have an obligation to educate the uneducated and the apathetic.

     The political ignorant need to know why Obama and the leftist democrats are going to destroy our country as we know it if we do not act. They must be encouraged to read what Obama is all about. I have suggested to everyone that they read "Liberty & Tyranny" by Mark Levin, and also to read "Rules for Radicals" by Saul Alinsky. These two books will explain everything that is going on right now. Once people know what is happening, it is then we can take our country back and restore the government to the limits placed upon it in the Constitution.

     It might not seem like it now but Obama might have been a blessing. Like I said before he has started a grassroots movement among Conservatives in the Republican party that I have never seen before. The grassroots movement is the key to getting back to leadership like Washington, Lincoln and Reagan. A grassroots movement networks people to each other, and if the need arises, to be able to mobilize at a moments notice especially now in the computer age. 

     Once you have connected with other Conservatives in your area, go to the local Republican party headquarters and get involved. If all you want to do is make calls and stuff envelopes that is fine but I get involved in the meetings and planning so that my voice is heard. This needs to be done in order to thwart your local party from supporting RINO's (Republicans In Name Only) which might as well be democrat plants. We also need to ward against elitists. Just because a candidate has a college education and is a millionaire does not mean he or she is going to best represent us.

     If we don't have our house in order at the county level how can we expect the state party or the RNC to have theirs in order and most candidates at the national level start off as peons at the county level first. We should all be in competition to produce the best Conservative "Founding Principles" candidates to represent us and hope that our candidates are good enough to make to make it to the national stage. If not we end up with a RINO like McCain and his leftist daughter Mehgan making loser speeches in some hotel ballroom.
     
     Remember we are about the "Founding Principles". I would rather have a high school dropout that believes in following the Constitution than a college educated elitist doing it for his ego portfolio. This is paramount. I know what people are going to say to that line already. "Yeah but Mike if we don't have someone that can appeal to the moderates...blah blah." Not true. If someone votes for a candidate because he or she is good looking or votes for a candidate that is spineless, they are morons in the first place and there usually is no helping them. If they are willing to learn, we must teach them.

     It is about the "Founding Principles"! and the articulation of said principles. If we educate people they will vote for the best candidate. Most democrats are Conservatives and don't even know it. We need to get them thinking and get them involved. They need to know that all of the garbage the leftists throw at us is just that. They also need to know the insidious nature of the mountains of bureaucracy that have been created by leftists in order to control more aspects of our lives. Inform them that the hardcore leftists have bad things planned and are enemies of our country. We are the party of inclusion, individualism, capitalism, smaller government and equality. We want everyone to be successful and equal. We are the ones that stand up for the rights of people not the leftists. If we do these things the country will be returned to it's glorious stature as the "Shining City on a Hill".
