THEPATRIOTJOURNAL.COM: Arrogance And Narcissism The Rule In The Senate
Arrogance And Narcissism The Rule In The Senate
I don't know if everyone has seen or heard Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) recently, but that woman is a disgrace to the office she holds. While grilling Brigadier General Michael Walsh of the Army Corps of Engineers she blurts out this, "Could you say 'senator' instead of 'ma'am? It's just a thing. I worked so hard to get that title. I'd appreciate it." This woman isn't fit to wash this man's trousers and she wants him to bow to her.
Then this week she was in a committee hearing discussing the merits of an energy bill. Harry Alford is the CEO of the Black Chamber of Commerce. Being a businessman and representing business owners he is opposed to the leftists plans for energy. Because he was opposed Sen. Boxer stated she was going to put into the record endorsements for the bill by black civic groups that have nothing to do with energy policy or business. Mr. Alford was angry knowing she was using other black groups against him and implying he should step in line. Mr Alford let her know he thought she was a racist but she kept right on going. She is rude and a race baiter. Typical leftist.
It's people like this that do not deserve the privilege of being a Senator. She is one in a long list of incumbents that have been there so long that they believe they are entitled to do what they please, and treat others like they are below them.
I am an advocate of term limits in Congress and believe we need them soon. There are people that spend 30, 40 even 50 years in the House of Representatives or the Senate. This is too long especially in the Senate where their votes are more powerful and affect everyone more people aside from their constituents. Honor and humility are the primary elements of valor, Barbara Boxer possesses neither of these. The Senate was supposed to be a place of respect and reverence. It is now just another clown club with the likes of Al Franken occupying a seat. These people are disgusting and do not deserve the titles they have. I hope the coming elections bring respectability back to the Senate, and get rid of nasty people like Barbara Boxer, Al Franken, and their ilk.

You are so right! I am outraged at Boxer, Pelosi, Conyers, Jackson-Lee, Maxine Waters, Barney Frank, Charles Rangel and more. THEY HAVE BEEN THERE MANY, MANY YEARS! The reasons are that no one in their districts are smart enough to follow them and their voting records. GOD, PLEASE HELP US ALL! Reply to this

like my Daddy said the older they get the dumber they get, and its living proof in congress, well in our government in general. Yes older may be wiser, but somtimes older is just to damn old. Boxer talked and acted like a condescending old biddy school teacher. She has a written program and she marches to its tune. I loved the fact that Mr. Alford, stuck to his guns, but with this Congress they maight as well be shooting blanks, because they are not listening to anyone. The theme song is "We Won, hahahahahaha" Lets get together and vote these people out period. Reply to this

My existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives. You don't want to admit that because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties you want me on that wall, you need me on that wall. We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use then as the backbone of a life trying to defend something. You use them as a punchline.
I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a SENATOR who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide and then questions the manner in which I address her. I would rather you just said "thank you, General" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest that you pick up a weapon and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to or what you've "worked hard for."

I agree, Heaven help us. Yes, God help us. There are a lot of books out there people are saying to read, but the best one is the bible. It gives a clear understanding of what is going on, if you take the time to read it.
