There are things in life that are very annoying. Paying taxes, which is another subject altogether. Working hard for your pay when others around you do not, and one that sticks in my craw more than any other. Double standards! Double standards when it comes to politics is rampant in the ongoing war with leftists. Why is it that Sarah Palin, a good wholesome mother and overachiever in her career is brutalized by the leftist media, but Ted Kennedy drives drunk off a bridge and kills a young girl by not calling for help for hours after he escapes from the submerged vehicle is incredible. Kennedy never had any legal trouble at all from that incident and continues to this day as a Senator. Sarah Palin has done nothing except be a threat to the left. The obvious double standard is perplexing until you know the motivation and methods of operation used by leftists.

     Sarah Palin scared the leftists. She scared them to the core. Like I have said before, even with all the hype, Obama only won with 53% of the vote. She scared them enough for them to need to destroy her. They went after everything including her family. They wanted to totally de-legitimize her to the point that even Republicans would disown her. They feel they have to destroy her for the future too, which explains why they are still trashing her eight months after the election. In some Republican circles they have accomplished their mission. There are elitist Republicans in the Beltway and New York, the so called intellectual wing of the party, that despised her. The RINO's in other words. They and the leftists got away with trashing Sarah Palin, saying she didn't have the experience, when she had executive experience running a city and a state. Obama has never had a job aside from Senator for two years and President, yet he is the second coming. He has never run a McDonald's let alone had an executive office, and it shows. They trashed Palin because she didn't know McCain's position to the letter on every subject, but Obama was free to spout off populism with no specifics whatsoever.

     What Conservatives fail to realize is that leftists are playing for keeps. Trashing Sarah Palin is a means to an end for them in a war with no rules for them at all. However, Republicans are held to every moral rule. Bill Clinton shames the office of President doing nasty things to an intern in the Oval Office and the leftist media defends him. Governor Sanford of South Carolina cheats on his wife and it is a front page story for two weeks. They both were wrong but Clinton never had to answer to any of it until he was caught lying about it to a Grand Jury and still he was saved by his cohorts in the Senate. Go ahead and lie to a Grand Jury and see what happens to you or to a Republican in government. Sol Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" road maps it all. I suggest you read it to understand the leftist enemy we face.

     The only way to save us is to hold them accountable and for Republicans in government to hold them accountable as well. It's not ok to cheat on your taxes or cheat on your spouse. It's not ok to embezzle the people's money or sleep with prostitutes. Call them out to all your friends and if they do not find anything wrong with these types of behaviors then maybe they are not the kind of friends you want to have. Double standards only exist because we allow them too. We need to have the big protests that make an impact. The kind of protests where thousands of us descend on Washington and clog the streets for hours making noise in front of the Capitol or the White House. Conservatives are too conservative with their mouths, they need to open up and make these people look like the fools that they are. Every political discussion I am part of with a leftist, is always going to end with me making the leftist fool, look like a fool, in front of the people he is trying to impress. Leftists think they are smarter than we are and we need to crush them when they try it, no matter what. Double standards do not exist with me.
