Barack Obama is going to be giving the commencement speech for Notre Dame University seniors on Sunday and will also be awarded an honorary law degree typically offered to commencement speakers. This seems routine, the president speaking to graduating seniors, no big deal right? But not this time. Barack Obama is the most anti-Pro Life president we have ever had and he is going to be speaking at a Catholic university. For pro-life Catholics having Obama speak at Notre Dame is like having Harry Reid speak at CPAC (Conservative Political Action Committee for those that are not good with acronyms). It's an abomination, pardon the pun. I am surprised that the Pope has not chimed in but i guess he is picking his battles with the leader of the free world. Well, free for now anyway. Thankfully, the regents at Arizona State University chose not to give Obama an honorary degree when he spoke there earlier this week . Probably a good idea because Arizona is a very conservative state and donors to the university would have revolted.

     This all comes just as a new Gallup Poll was released that shows 51% of Americans now call themselves pro-life as opposed to pro-choice. The first time this has happened in the fifteen years since the poll has been taken. As more people reach into their hearts they realize that the unborn child can get a death sentence on a whim with no protections from the Government that is suposed to protect innocent life. And yes I said it! Innocent life! Murderers are not innocent life. There is no moral equivalent, none whatsoever.

     Obama is pro-choice and is even in favor of partial birth abortions and believes a baby born alive from a botched abortion should be left to die. How anyone but a heathen could be in favor of this is sick. The students that are not going to their own graduation ceremony should be commended. Political correctness when it crosses your core convictions should be crushed. I am proud of them for standing up for what is right. I believe that the more visible Obama is, the more his views are going to be rejected. Notre Dame is going to suffer for going against the teachings of the church and the beliefs of catholics. Potential students should find other options until the university is restored to it's christian roots.
